Response from German Roofing
We are never rude when we call customers to collect payment. We call and say, "We have completed the roofing work and were calling to see how you wanted to make the payment. You can mail in a check, or you can make a card payment over the phone" I have no idea what the customer is talking about with regards to the billing office being rude, because she never indicated any problem when she made the payment, and there was never a problem. We provided the customer an estimate for a complete tile roof maintenance which was accepted. On the receipt it shows the total was $798. This included Clearing the roof free of debris, replacing one Barrel Tile which the customer provided, replacing 18 additional tiles not provided by the customer, securing all loose tiles throughout the tile roof, and repairing mortar joints throughout the tile roof. If the customer was not happy with the quote, they should not have accepted the proposal and approved the work. They are free to get as many estimates as they want from whoever they want. The customer also states that a month after we performed the roof maintenance another tile fell off the roof. If the customer would have called us to let us know, we would have been happy to come out and replace the tile as a courtesy as we have done this many times for customers. it is common for tiles to fall from the roof, and for the roof to need this regular maintenance yearly or sooner due to weather, animals, wind, and roofing debris. I am really unsure why this customer is so unhappy as she never indicated she was unhappy with the quoted price, and she never indicated any problem when she made the payment.
