Description of Work: Had 1,100 square feet of tile roof replaced. German Roofing was professional, did an excellent job, and took care of small issues (stucco repair) that occurred during the repair work. They can be a little difficult to get hold of, but they always returned calls and e-mails within a reasonable amount of time. I would definitely recommend this business, and I would absolutely hire them again.

This customer paid for a tile roof tune up special which was $149. This included clearing the roof free of debris, Securing loose tiles as needed throughout the roof, repairing up to 15 tiles if repairable, and sealing all penetrations throughout the roof. We also did an inspection for any additional work that might be needed while there. The following is the estimate provided. The customer never indicated they were unhappy with the pricing for the work we completed, or the estimate we provided. We offer competitive pricing when compared to other licensed roofing companies in our area. The following is the estimate they were provided: This applies to replacing 59 broken tiles throughout the roof, 44 field tiles, and 15 tops. Remove and replace 59 broken tiles, and secure loose tiles as needed throughout the tile roof. Repair mortar joints as needed throughout the tile roof. Seal all penetrations, haul away debris, and keep yard clean. No warranty against leaks provided, maintenance only. The $149 tune up was completed, this estimate is for the additional recommended work. Price: $1,070.00 Discounts: ($50.00) Tax: (Tax included in total) $0.00 Total: $1,020.00

Description of Work: They checked the roof because we had some staining on the ceiling from a leak. They found several cracked tiles and improperly sealed vents, and took pictures to show me the problems. They did find where the leak was coming from and gave me an estimate to repair it. I checked with a family member that is a general contractor, and given the amount of work, said it was a very good price. We went ahead with the work. Three guys came on a hot Saturday and did the work. They moved all the tiles, replaced the underlayment, replaced the broken tiles, fixed the improperly sealed vents, and put the other tiles back on. They worked hard and cleaned up any mess. I paid for a roof tune up ($149) and that amount was applied to the repair. Recommended!

Description of Work: Carlos was extremely professional and prompt. The visit to inspect and make minor repairs to my shingle roof though was very brief. He did show me pictures but I re-read the what was included and I'm not sure if it was done or not. Specifically "caulking exposed nail heads on flashing, resealing around any unsealed pipe collars, exhaust fans, vents, and chimney flashing up to four penetrations, an any other general maintenance |•Checking for interior leaks that may not be noticeable from the exterior of your home". He did not come into my home at all so the last one definitely was not done. I do have an older roof and Carlos was very informative and spent time showing me pictures and discussing the state my roof was in which I appreciate but the items I mentioned prior were not discussed at all so I'm not sure if they were done or not. If they were I am pleased with what was provided, if not then no. |

Description of Work: Initial contact was prompt. I had two tiles on the front edge of the house that had been knocked off by a tree. The inspector checked the roof, showed me where 9 more tiles were broken and said I'd get an estimate shortly. Several hours another inspector showed up to double check. It took several weeks with missed appointments to complete the job. I was asked for payment prior to the completion of the work. Apparently some internal communication issues. Once completed the work was fine. Total was $550 minus the initial $149.

The tune up for $149 which you purchased covers, clearing the roof free of debris, securing loose tiles, sealing any penetrations, repairing broken tiles if repairable. The estimate for the additional work recommended that was not covered by the tune up was provided to you. This included replacing 30 broken tiles, and repairing mortar joints throughout the roof. We do not use the tune up service to provide estimates to customers, as our estimates and inspections are always free. Many customers who purchased the tune up service did not need any additional work, and the tune up completely covered what their roof needed. You never indicated at anytime that you were unhappy with the tune up service we provided you with for the $149, and did not even reply to confirm you received the estimate okay, as it says right in the email to contact me if you have any questions about the estimate.
