Foster's Pool Service

Had to use this company for a home warranty repair. Tech came out, told my wife that he won't "work in s***" as there was a recent Pug dog poop near the spa heater. Proceeded to do nothing but say that there needs to be propane for him to diagnose anything, took our $55, then left. Really, really ridiculous. Do not call these people ever for any reason.

I placed a home warranty service call on May 23rd, 2013 for my salt water pool. I was getting an error message that the salt cell wasn't working so I called Old Republic. A service request was then created and I was assigned to Foster's Pool Service Inc. Foster's didn't call me on Thursday the 23rd, the 24th, or Monday the 27th (A Federal holiday). I called Foster's on Tuesday the 28th to setup an appointment, set for the following day at 10:00AM. The technician showed up on time. He was here for approximately 10 minutes and informed me that I would be hearing from my home warranty company to get the process moving forward for repair of my system. The claim was denied by warranty company, the customer service rep informed me that the error message I received was due to a problem with the 'remote control board' and it was not covered under my plan. While I'm fine with the fact that my plan doesn't cover the control board I'm not fine with Foster's Pool Service. When I called them to inquire as to how they knew it was the control board when the technician was here for such a short amount of time, I was told I would be called back in 30 minutes. No one ever called me. No one has called me from Foster's to fix my pool. I called them again and was told I would be contacted back, still nothing. I feel that the $55 fee I paid them was nothing more than a set fee they expected to receive, but they had no intention of actually fixing my pool, warranty or not. I believe my $55 should be returned to me and as they are your client I wanted to bring that fact to your attention. I will not use or call Foster's Pool Service Inc in the future nor will I recommend them.
