They replaced our entire cedar shake roof and did a wonderful job at a reasonable price. This is a small company that truly takes pride in the quality of their work. The owners are a pleasure to work with and dealing with this company is like working with friends who truly care. I would highly recommend Earl Clark Roofing if you have any problems with your roof.

 + -1 moreGreat. I had a small roof leak on our roof and a broken tile that needed to be fixed. I was having problems getting roofers who would fix a small area. Most want to do the whole roof and were backed up for a couple months. Earl Clark Roofing came out to inspect the job and said they could do it. It was a rainy day so they came back two days later and fixed and roof and tile.

They worked hard to keep costs compeitive without sacrificing quality. They also offered many intelligent suggestions for improvement to the job. They did a great job and I would highly recommend them.
Description of Work: We needed our roof reshingled and some structural repairs like new Soffit and Fascia as well as the removal of an old Swamp Cooler. and sealing off the ductwork.

 + -1 moreI called four roofing companies in Mesa for an estimate. Earl Clarks Roofing was the only one who offered me a next day appointment. I was surprised when I got to talk with the owner directly. We ended up taking his bid and had him do the work before the other company's could schedule an estimate appointment. The job was done within that week. We later met the owner and found him very personable and likable. We have another rental in Casa Grande. Last summer we received estimates from Casa Grande roofing companies to replace half of that roof. Those estimates were the same amount we paid for the full roof in Mesa. The square footage in Casa Grande is only 200 more than our Mesa house. When the time comes I will have Earl Clark Roofing replace that roof as well.

 + -1 moreGreat job. Conscientious workers who were thorough in doing the roof replacement to correct the drainage problem that caused the problem in the first place. They didn't skimp on new coating on the roof either. They stand behind their work. After a few months, had a couple of small leaks pop up and they came out quickly to fix them. I highly recommend this company. They treat your home like it is their own. And they warranty their work.
Description of Work: Replaced 600 sq ft of built up roofing and applied elastomeric seal to almost 6000 sq ft of roof.

As an additional note, I don't understand why Angies List doesn't allow me to change my original review, if they do they don't make it easy to figure out how to do it.
Description of Work: I had a complete roof replacement. I mistakenly left them a less than excellent review in error. The previous review was intended for another roofer at a different house. Earl Clark's work was excellent and I apologize for the mistake.

There wasn't a lot of time left before the house was closing, so working through our real estate agent they recommended Earl Clark Roofing - good guys who were honest and did a great job. They were contacted and we had it scheduled for the next week. They showed up on time, completed the work timely and we were very happy with what they did for us. Great warrantee for the new owners too. Have recommended them to neighbors and friends - should have taken more business cards from them.
Description of Work: Reroofed the house and removed the following from the roof that were no longer in use: cooler, solar and dish. Also replaced damaged wood were needed.

 + -1 moreI have been traveling for 6 months, my neighbor said my roof blew off. I had talked to Earl Clark Roofing before I left town, he fixed a repair and said I was good for 5-6 years for a new roof. I called Earl Clark, he came out and fixed it. My neighbor said he did an excellent job.
Description of Work: Remove 1 layer backside only. Install 15# felt on patio and 75# glass base, install white 2" face metal edge, patio install buff poly glass torch down rolled roofing, install 25 year oc Amber 3 tab shingles. Lift AC unit work under and re-seal, flash and paint roof vents, clean up and haul away debris. Payment on completion.

 + -1 moreIt was great. This is a family owned business and Johnny Clark came out and gave us an estimate. Our house is 15 years old so the tiles that we have are not available anymore. He had to go out of his way to 3 different bone yards to find tiles that would match. He did a great job. He was here exactly when he said he would be and got the job done. He was very nice and professional. I would recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: This roofing company came to us through a referral from a previous contractor, who was marvelous, and since my family and I were happy with them, we asked them "who would you get for yourself if you wanted an excellent job?" We called who he said he would hire: EARL CLARK ROOFING INC. We called and Paul Clark said he could come over and take a look in a few hours. We met and decided to get and estimate, as Paul knew what needed to be done and gave an estimate that was really fair for the whole roof, all gutters and all of the complex over-hangs. When they were finished it looked and still looks so much more finished and beautiful than the average roof job. They did a prompt job, a thorough job, with excellent work with top grade materials. It actually added a great value to our home, and it is guaranteed by the shingle manufacturer for 30 years, and a 10 year guarantee by EARL CLARK for leaks. Impressive!

 + -1 moreAll went well, Mr Clark responded to all my phone calls in a prompt manor, he was even willing to work with the home warranty company. He showed up as scheduled and was professional. He also took the time to explain and show me everything he was doing. It is my opinion that Mr Clark can be relied upon to do this type of work very well.
Description of Work: Mr Clark removed and replaced roof tiles in each "valley" to clean up all debris that was backing up water allowing it to leak to the interior. He also removed and reinstalled the roof over the patio which was also leaking, one ridge cap was replaced and several broken tiles were replaced as well. When the job was complete everything was cleaned up very nicely.

 + -1 moreThey were professional and did the work in a timely manner. They were honest with me, and didn't recommend I change the entire roof, (a different company did.) We've had some pretty severe storms since then, and my roof has held up just fine.
Description of Work: The roofers replaced the roofing over the patio, and added a layer of metal around the underside of the roof. Prior to their repair, the water leaked down from the tiles directly onto the wood and ruined the paint and wood. They also repaired the leak between my kitchen wall and the roof.

We had a leak on the rear patio portion of the roof about 8-10 yrs ago and replaced that portion of the roof. Roof was completely replaced in 2011 due to hail damage.
Description of Work: Remove existing roof to sheathing, Install 2 layers of 15# felt and metal edge. Apply 25 yr. Genstar Saddle Tan shingles. Flash and paint all vents. 5 yr. warranty on labor. Clean up and haul away debris. Replace 2 sheets of 1/2 in. CC plywood sheathing.
