+ -1 moreAll seems to be working great now. As a result of changing out the motor, our airflow is better than it was before the control board went out. Follow-up questions were answered promptly. My husband and I have no idea who we would use for HVAC issues if Definitive Air wasn't around!
Description of Work: Definitive Air continues to be one of the most solid professionals out their for HVAC needs. Mike came out on short notice when we seemed to need a new air handler motor, but he determined the problem was actually the control board. We chose to replace the motor anyway, since it was 21 years old. Mike continues to be reliable, skilled, honest and pleasant. Too few folks out there have all of these attributes!

+ -1 moresee above. Mike has continued to be punctual, and really goes the extra mile. He took a fair amount of time and effort, armed with our model and serial numbers, to pinpoint the precise parts he would need ahead of coming out again, so that he came with these parts already in his possession, thus saving us considerable time. And although he has informed us of longer term benefits of full system replacements, he is not pushy regarding this, and respects our choice to maintain what we have and to avoid a full system replacement/upgrade. At this point, could not imagine using anyone else for our ac/heating systems.
Description of Work: This review covers additional work on 2 different occasions since our first review. We have a split system, and my husband and I are attempting to maintain our units not only to be comfortable in Arizona temperatures, but also in order to avoid full system replacements. With our home over 15 years old, it is not surprising that major parts have failed us this year. First we realized our 5 ton compressor needed to be replaced. Then we identified blower motor and blower wheel replacement needs in the 5 ton zone. Mike performed these replacements for us with the same skill, efficiency, professionalism and honesty that impressed us when we called on him the first time. He also installed for no charge a new thermostat we had already purchased.
