 + -1 moreIt was somewhat confusing. Moving from one locacton to another. First it was to be a self-installation, then they decided that a tech had to come in person. The tech was fine, but the process of getting the account moved and haggling with Cox about the rate was a pain

Description of Work: Installation of cable, internet, and landline. Found out they needed to go into attic to run cables for connection, because of where tv's are located, at an extra cost.

Description of Work: Installation was fine but after reviewing my initial bill, a phone call had to be made to correct the package & pricing. Also about a month into my Cable & internet service, my Internet speed was reduce from 50 mbps to 30 mbps. I called and have yet to reach customer service. I understand this is a practice they use in order to manage bandwidth and to see if their customer base notices.

 + -1 moreFrequently, the rates go up. The cable TV and internet service that I used to get for around $160/month is now over $200/month. I've dropped channels and services to try and get the bill down, but it continues to rise. I'm actively seeking other providers. Service is usually good, service calls are prompt and handled well, and I have no real complaint about the quality of Cox's services, other than the ridiculously inflated price. Often, it doesn't seem worth it. Cox TV and internet service has become too expensive to be worthwhile.
Description of Work: Ongoing cable TV service. I have expanded cable, an HD Digital Video Recorder box downstairs, one regular cable box upstairs, one premium channel (HBO) and internet service. No phone service.
