Canyon State Window Cleaning

Went very well, on time and very professional from the time appt was scheduled till the job was done. Paid an extra $51.00 to have our sunscreens washed which came out very nice and when doing so he reversed the screens as they were starting to shows signs of wear on the one side. Would use this service again and recommend as well.

It was very good. They came when we wanted them. It worked out fine. When we called them, they came. It went very, very well, They were very punctual. They did a very fine job. I just paid the price for the big deal but he actually did more than that. So it worked out real well. He did both outside and inside. We had anticipated for it to just be outside. The whole thing came out very, very good.

He came and I asked how much extra it would be for the screens. It was real reasonable. They took out all the screens, washed the windows, and put everything back. I could not have asked for a nicer bunch. They were very fair and they cleaned up after themselves.

They arrived on time, took into consideration my special requirements and items needing attention. They were done in less than 2 hours for 20 openings, 40 window and door sections. Eli is very personable and has effective work team.

Eli and I traded phone calls, but were able to set up a time to wash the 20 windows included in the Angie's List deal. When we scheduled the service, neither of us realized the date was a holiday. I tried to get Eli on the phone early that morning to reschedule but didn't reach him and left a message. He didn't get the message, and came anyway. I called the next day again to reschedule, we found another date and he arrived early to wash the windows. I added more windows, and was charged an additional $122. Our house is 2,800 square feet, all on one level. I skipped all the windows that are high above the long windows and french doors, and, of course, the French windows cost more. Eli and his partner did a great job of washing the windows. They were professional, arrived early, and answered my questions. I'd use them again with no problem.

They arrived on time. Since the outside of our windows were needing done after the last dust storm, I could go to work and leave them at the house. When I arrived back in the afternoon, everything was literally "spotless."

It was pretty good. Everything was as expected so I would definitely give them a green.

Eli was great--courteous, efficient, and excellent at what he does. I will have him back in the fall. H was punctual and did his work without wasting time. He is nice, personable, identified himself when he arrived, and showed me his ID. Really exceptional.

quoted 89 for 20 windows on angie's special. charged 89 x 2 due to higher qty of windows. Did not include inside pane cleaning. The work was reasonably good, only some streaking left from the squeegee (I was not present to point them out) I have had three different window cleaners over the years. Prices for all windows ( inside pane and outside pane) have ranged from 120.00 to 160.00. I thought the price was expensive. I did not check the fine print very carefully , so my bad. I thought both sides of panes were included. So I call this service provider expensive.

Eli was immediately responsive and accommodating when I phoned to make an appointment. He was more than punctual (arrived early, but he had called first to ensure this was agreeable to me). He worked efficiently and my windows sparkle now. This was a pleasant professional encounter and a job well done.

Eil arrived and I answered the door and went back to work. I inspected the work when he was done and all the windows were clean. Eli left when finished and did not disturb my work. I called him shortly after and told him I was thrilled and when should the windows be cleaned again. He said, see you in July and thank you.

The house had been painted just before we moved in about 7 years ago. It still looked good but the HoA asked us to have the walls pressure cleaned. So, we decided to have the windows and screens cleaned too. We contacted four companies to give us quotes. All of them sent out employees to inspect the windows and walls first. All of them pointed out two or three isolated spots near the pavement on the South wall where the paint was flaking and said that pressure cleaning might make this worse. They also said they were surprised our HoA was requesting cleaning since the house already looked good and pressure cleaning wouldn’t make that much of a difference. We wound up going with Canyon because his price was competitive and because he honored his Angie’s List coupon, which he said was supposed to have been removed. (As of today, it's still there.) We also liked him personally. He arrived promptly and completed the job on time. However, he also damaged our paint job and left ugly streaks and spots where he wore away the top layer of paint. When he was done, we also discovered an ugly crack in the stucco connecting two of the windows he cleaned on the south wall. I can provide the photos showing this which I sent to him also. When we pointed this out, he told us that the crack was there previously and that the streaks were revealed by cleaning. This is simply not the case. There are numerous additional spots where the walls are totally smooth and the previous paint job shows through because he wore away the stucco. He doesn't use any kind of cleaning agent. So, he probably tried to do too much with water pressure alone. I suspect that power washing is not something he does on a frequent basis and that his main business is window cleaning. We don’t like leaving negative comments about anyone. But, we subscribe to Angie’s List so we can rely on the ratings and know what to expect. We can certainly recommend him for windows, but not for pressure cleaning. He damaged our home. So, our ratings have to reflect this.

I was there the whole time. It was a very friendly gut. I seemed like he owns the business and runs it himself. He was very professional and very friendly. He didn't an outstanding job on the windows. He is a little bit of a perfectionist. He has great equipment. The quality of work was amazing.

Well, I can't say enough good things about this experience. The Big Deal was absolutely a fantastic bargain, but even at their regular prices this would have been a great service at a fair price. Scheduling was easy, the two men who showed up were punctual, professional, and courteous. The starting state of my windows was an absolute horror: we just bought the home a year earlier, and it was clear that the windows hadn't been cleaned in perhaps ten years or more. After a year's renovation the windows were even worse. The men arrived on time and promptly got to business. They worked quickly and cleanly, and did what they promised to do. They tackled even more than we expected them to do: they climbed onto my roof to clean the outsides of the clerestory windows over ourentryway. How incredibly wonderful. The final state of the windows was spectacular: clean, sparkling, rejuvenated. We couldn't have been more impressed. We'll be using Canyon State Window Cleaning regularly from now on.

Next time, I will have them replace sunscreens. They left them off so we would get more heat during the winters months. It was difficult to get 2nd story screens back up ourselves.

They haven't returned my calls to get the service scheduled.

I used a discount coupon from Angie's List, so the price was really inexpensive for the number of windows that we have. I liked that they were efficient and very responsive.

Eli Alvarez arrived promptly at 10 am and was very friendly. He washed all of the outside windows and screens and also washed the window sills. The windows have never looked better. I was amazed how clean he was able to get the sliding glass door screen too! He did an amazing job in a short period of time. Very satisfied!!!! I would highly recommend him and I will call him again.

The only thing that he got done in a timely fashion was the cleaning of the windows. As stated above, he had overbooked and we did not get our windows done before Christmas, which was the whole plan. We felt that he did a job which was not as good as other companies that we have used.

We have old single pane windows that were not cared for prior to us moving in. They were in bad shape but he got them looking good as can be. He wasn't happy with them but I am very pleased. It is a huge improvement to what it was before he came. We will most certainly use him again!

From being on time, to completing well within the estimated time, it went very well. They were professional, took appropriate care with ladders and walls, ensuring they didn't come in with dirt on their shoes, etc. I expect that we will utilize their services again in the future.
