 + 0 moreNelson stopped by to say he was working in the neighborhood and asked if I'd like an estimate. After a lengthy discussion, he gave me a bid and left me his card. I phoned his company the next day to tell him we'd hire him. He came right out and powerwashed the entire house. 2 painters showed up the next day to prep the house. They worked like crazy all day and did a very good job. I needed to be out of town the next day, Nelson had said that would be no problem, but it was a problem for the painters. I needed my front door painted and couldn't close the door to lock it and go when I needed to. When the job was done, Nelson came back with his Uncle Nelson to see how things were going. Uncle Nelson climbed up onto my patio roof and told me it was rotten and as they were also roofers, he would fix it for $3400. He quickly dropped the price to $2900. I told him I'd think about it. We subsequently had the patio ceiling replaced and the roof was in good repair. Another roofer explained to me how a heavy guy standing in one spot could make the roof give and appear to be in need of repair. After I found this out, I was sorry I'd had them paint the house or do any business for us whatsoever.

 + -1 moreTHEY WERE VERY COMPETITIVELY PRICED, ACTUALLY LOWER THAN MOST. COMPLETED JOB IN TIME PROMISED. DID A GOOD JOB AT CLEANING UP. LEFT SOME EXTRA PAINT BEHIND FOR FUTURE TOUCH UP. WORKERS SMOKED, BUT THEY WERE OUTSIDE.
Description of Work: PAINTED THE EXTERIOR OF 2 STORY STUCCO HOUSE, WITH TRIM, DOORS, IRON FENCING AND BLOCK WALL AROUND PERIMETER OF HOUSE.
