Description of Work: Got a Living Social special deal for three hours of housecleaning. Looked up their web site and saw that they clean with teams of two or three people and throught that was what I could expect. One person arrived and worked for three hours. Have a 4 BR house and am only one in the house so floors, dusting, bathrooms and kitchen are pretty much all that needs to be done. The house was cleaner than when she came, but the outside of the toilets had not been cleaned and picked up some books near the bed and the dust around them was very visable. Told the worker that I had put fresh towels out for her after she cleaned the bathroom and set them down. They were still in same place when she was gone....thought she would have taken dirty towels to laundry room, but perhaps that wasn't clear enough. It was average but not great and not worth paying the full price that is normally charged.

+ -1 moreBusy Bee cleans my house on a regular basis. I get a team of three to four people who clean and scrub and dust and mop, climb on ladders and clean fans and wash my windows when they get spotty. Occasionally they are a bit later than expected, but they call to let me know (and I give them an A for that). Gloria (the owner) is great about keeping me informed, returns phone calls promptly and is extremely easy to communicate with. I can ask for special requests, like washing the walls and shelves of a walk in closet that I was repainting (there was 15 years of dust there) and it is never a problem. I think the pricing structure makes sense, the team is industrious and gets the job done right. I get a 'reminder' phone call the night before I have the cleaning service, which I really appreciate. Great service and a well run business.
Description of Work: Vacuum and mop floors, vacuum carpets, clean mirrors, microwave, counters, sinks, outside cabinets, showers, baths, toilets dusts, cleans baseboards, sills, ledges, furniture, frames, light fixtures, wooden blinds, ceiling fans.
