Great. The technician was wonderful and provided lots of useful info. We would use them again.

Went well. It was kind of weird that they schedule so late in the evening but didnt take long.

We've had scorpion problems for at least 15 years or more. During that time, we've actually killed several hundred right in the house, but fortunately, only one actual sting. We've used various pest control services and spent a lot of money trying to remedy the problem, but nothing worked. About a year ago after seeing an Angie's List Big Deal, I decided to give Bulwark Exterminating (Mesa) a try. Not exactly sure what they do differently, but it sure seems to have worked. So far this summer we've only had one scorpion -- and that was very early in the season (about May) -- very likely one that was already in the house from last year. Don't know what will happen going forward, but we've been amazed at the difference.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I used them shortly after I bought the deal and I’ve used them a second time as well.

While I had somewhat of an issue with the service man and billing departments, Jeff was very responsive and quickly corrected all issues brought to his attention. I very much appreciated his follow-through.

They came on time and completed the service in a timely manner. We did see more scorpions three weeks after treatment. When we called, they came out promptly and treated again. It is too early to evaluate the results of the second treatment. Based on our contacts with Bulwark, we anticipate a successful resolution of the pest problem.

I decided to try Bulwark due to the initial contact with another company and not feeling comfortable with that company. But, as I started to work with Bulwark, I started seeing similar inattention to details from the salesman. The salesman Mike initially seemed he would perform well (as salesmen usually do). But, when I asked that he email the terms of his agreement, he sent only part of the agreement (i.e., he sent the drawing and areas to be treated but not the information indicating the length of the warranty). The drawing was also missing some areas where there was obvious termite damage. So, I asked him to add that information. Mike said he would get me an updated agreement with all the information later that afternoon. But, it was after 9:00 PM, and I still had not received it, and they were scheduled to begin work the next morning at 7 AM. I wanted time to review the contract prior. So, I called, and Mike did send the agreement at 9:30 PM. The next day, the technician arrived in a timely manner. Actually he arrived about a half hour early, which was great. The technician began to trench around the house. In the trench around the house, it was about 1 inch deep. The technician informed me it was not necessary to dig as deep as with the older product (i.e., Termidor, not Termidor HE). Afterwards, however, I looked on the web for that product and found that the trench should be a minimum of 2 inches. Also, I found that the dirt should be mixed with the product when filling the trenches. But, that was not done. Instead, the dirt was just placed back into the trench without mixing with the Termidor HE product. When it came to a flower bed at the front of the house, he only trenched 1 - 2 inches deep. But, there was at least 8 inches of dirt left above the foundation of the house. He said his rod for reaching down into the trench was broken but that it would not be a problem since the product he was using would soak down to the foundation of the house. I mentioned I did not believe it would go that deep. But, he told me it would go 25 feet. I said I did not believe any liquid would soak 25 feet. So, I called the office and talked to the manager, who was helpful. He agreed that they would put the chemical down and return later with a working rod to rod the area of the flower bed, which I thought was acceptable. But, the technician was later able to find a spare rod on his truck. So, he was able to rod the flower bed after all. Still, it did not appear he was pushing the rod down far enough through the dirt. So, my brother and I dug the trench about 5 inches deeper, after which it appeared the rod was reaching deeper into the soil and did reach the foundation after we removed the dirt. I was very happy with the way the technician filled the drill holes in the concrete after the work was done. It was smooth, and the fillings look reasonably good. Overall, I thought the work was satisfactory. But, I did the low grade for quality is due to the fact that I think Bulwark should have treated the dirt that was put back into the trench around the foundation of the house. Also, I don't feel the area that needed to be trenched would have been treated properly without watching, then calling the office to request the area be trenched, and making the trench deeper myself. I would like some of these companies that claim to do a good job would do it without having such close monitoring. The technician (James) was very friendly, polite, and professional. The low rating on responsiveness is due to the salesman not returning several emails and phone calls. One thing I did not like is the responsiveness of the salesman (Mike) after I agreed to use Bulwark. I thought I should have received the complete terms of agreement much earlier. Also, I emailed Mike after the service was complete so that I could get a corrected copy of the agreement. I never heard back from the salesman after several emails and voice messages I left him. Finally, I was able to get help when I called the office. I feel the salesman's responsiveness after I agreed to use Bulwark was not as good as prior to the agreement. The manager was responsive when I called the office. If the salesman was not the one to contact after the contract, he could have at least replied to my email directing me to the office. I mentioned I would not use Bulwark again primarily due to the unresponsiveness of the salesman. I just don't like being ignored by someone after agreeing to do business with them. As far as quality, I think I would need to monitor as I would expect with most companies.

They are good although I don't see anything effective but only for the scorpions. I do see pests like some roaches around. I've been telling them to come and do it. They've been coming and doing it but I don't see it to be effective. I think what they can do is do a better job when they spray so I won't see any activity after that.

Very good. Only complaint is that we have different techs all the time...so I keep going through my specific issues each time even those that are consistent.

Very smooth. I made the purchase as a special on Angie's List in the evening. The next day, I received a call to schedule the service. They were very responsive to our time schedule and were able to perform the services after closing, but before our move in. The schedulers, technicians and sales persons have been very personal and professional. We have not seen any live insects since moving to our new home and plan to continue regular service with this company.

It was okay I mean it wasn't bad, they guaranteed the spray would last for 60 days but it wasn't anything like that, they wanted to come out every 60 days; I don't think that they were that good to be honest with you, the treatment last only for less than 30 days and I've seen bugs in the house. The actual treatment of the house and its effectiveness was not very good.

Bulwark Exterminating-Mesa was good. I wasn't there personally but as far as their work, it was fine and they showd up on time. They everything they said they were going to do. I guess the price was fine but I didn't do any shopping around. So far the quality of the work is fine.

The tech was sensitive to my concerns about chemicals in the house. He offered an alternative to the inside treatment. He also spent time explaining details about scorpions and how they live, mate, hunt, etc. and other ways to secure our home from scorpions.

I contacted Bulwark after discovering scorpions inside of our newly purchased home. They fit me into their schedule the next day to treat the inside of the home and were out the following week to treat the exterior from the back end of the yard to the front end. Every person I dealt with at Bulwark has been friendly, courteous and professional. I found the company to be very responsive to my concerns and request for help. The technician was very thorough. So far - no more scorpions.

It turned out good. They did a good job. I would recommend them.

We purchased the big deal from Angie's List and it was good. I'm still using them. The technician that came out was very intelligent about Arizona pests.

He arrived on time and was professional. Since I didn't have any bug problems before they arrived, as far as I know, what they did is working fine.

I will need to include details at a later date. I have not yet had the first treatment done.

The service went pretty well. There were no additional charges. They did exactly what the big deal said. This was the first time I used them. They were just really professional. I like them, and I would use them again if I have to. They were excellent. Update: I have 5 or 6 nests coming out of the cielings and hanging on the walls. These nests are everywhere. I tried calling them to see if they could come out to get a solution to my problem as they should have removed the bugs the first time. They said they wouldn't come out at all. I spoke with Spencer today and he was the one that told me they wouldn't finish the work.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and they were fantastic; great. They came out within a couple of days after I purchased the deal, whenever I could work it into my work schedule. After the work was completed I signed up for their service. The technician was very friendly and when I talked to the people on the phone we confirmed the services they were going to do. The technician confirmed the services he was going to do when he arrived. It was all in sync and it was nice to hear it repeated again so I knew what was going to happen.

It was and continues to be GREAT service

I purchased a big deal from Angie’s List. The experience with them was okay. The first time they didn’t come to the right address and had to reschedule. They came at night and I think everything was fine.

The technician showed up on time and did both inside and outside the house fairly quickly. This is my first summer in this home so I wasn't quite sure what to expect bug-wise since we are so close to south mountain, so I wanted to be prepared. After the treatment we saw our first scorpion in the house and I noticed a black widow in the garage, along with some smaller bugs inside (pincer bugs, a cricket or two). I called Bulwark back and they sent out another technician to spray the inside and outside of the house again at no cost, and the only things I have seen since are the little pincer bugs. I'm thinking that is because they are coming through the drains and not the outside/walls. I haven't seen any more scorpions or roaches inside the house this summer so I've been very happy about that.
