+ -1 moreConstantly got calls with lame excuses about how he couldn't show up and do work, then he stopped calling, and I had to hunt him down to have him finish the first phase. He would show up for 30-40 minutes, and then would leave. It took what should have been a two day job (for 1-2 guys) and stretched it out over a month. In the end Toro Construction finished the second phase, but was fairly unrepentant about the referral (family connection). IT should also be noted that Bruce was doing work under his uncle's ROC, as he does not have his own. He also still owes me at $500. Avoid.
Description of Work: Recommended by Toro construction for "small" jobs. Bruce gave a "competitive" quote. The work was to be split up into two phases. 1) To add two blocks in height to existing wall, and also to add about 60 feet of new wall. Was supposed to take a week or so.

+ -1 moreI had gotten Bruce's name from the block wall contractor that had just installed my new block fence. He said Bruce did small block jobs and repairs and he refers him often for this type of work. I called Bruce and left a message on his voice mail as to who referred me and what work I needed done and he never called me back.
Description of Work: I needed deteriorated concrete repaired (called spalled concrete) on my foundation walls. The pool equipment was broken and couldn't be replaced until the walls were fixed because the new equipment would sit right next to the wall with no room to do the wall repairs.
