Description of Work: Needed spring repair on reclinder mechanism

Description of Work: I purchased a cleaning warranty for my rug through The Dump Furniture Store. I filed a claim and Adler Design has promised to call me back to schedule an appointment on numerous occasions. It is now 3 weeks later and my rug is still a mess. I've left 4 voice mails and still no call back. The other review about their prompt and professional service was probably written by themselves. This has been one of the worst experiences ever.

Description of Work: I have a warranty service plan that I purchased through The Room Store should I ever need repair of my leather funiture. When my recliner needed repair I contacted The Room Store who then put in a call to the Furniture Repair provider they contract with, Alder Design. I was told to wait 5 business days for a response. After waiting 5 days I was directed to call Alder Design directly for service. I called 3 times with no return call. I left detailed messages requesting a call back so I could be placed on their calandar for service. No returned calls, alway went straight to answering machine no matter what time of day I called. I called back The Room Store and told them that they never contacted me and would not return my phone calls. The Room Store then made an attempt to call Alder Design and then called me back. They told me that the reason given to them why they didn't call me back was due to not knowing when they would be able to get back to me since I lived so far out. I was stunned. They didn't call me back to give me any information because they didn't know when they could drive up here? She also told me that since they only had one repairman, he wanted to wait until someone else in my area called for service before he would come out to service my chair. I was agast. i said, "I've had my chair for 4 years before it needed service, what if someone else doesn't need service for a few years? So was I ever going to get service for the extra $200.00 I paid when I purchased my furniture? I told the Room Store Customer Service, that they needed to get back to Alder Design and provide me with a date for service...I could not trust them to get back to me since they never took the time to contact me with any status of my service call. I told her to get me service or refund me the $200 I had paid to have service. The Room Store was able to get a hold of Alder Design and scheduled a service date of Oct. 7th, a 2 week window. I agreed. Today I received a call directly from Alder Design which informed me that the repairman's van was broken and he had no idea how long it would take him to get it fixed and would call me in the future once his vehicle was repaired. I told them that wasn't good enough. I could not trust them to call me back. They would not give me any type of time frame when they anticipated the vehicle would be repaired. I called back the Room Store and complained on how I was treated by Alder Design, their complete lack of Customer Service. I don't think they had any intent on ever driving out to fullfill my service contract. I asked the Room Store for another service company or for my money back. They got me to another furniture repair service and they will be out here tomorrow to fix my chair.

Description of Work: THEY FIXED THE RECLINERS ON OUR SECTIONAL COUCH.

Description of Work: WARRANTY WORK. REMOVED UPHOLSTERY ON 3 ATTACHED CUSHION SEATS ONLY (NOT WHOLE SOFA) AND REPLACED. DID THIS IN HOME, IN A MATTER OF A FEW HOURS.
