Excellent work! We have been with Air Care for over 5 years. If you are needing ANY AC services look no further . Techs always arrive as scheduled and are prepared to spend the time to make sure your needs are met. Once we had a weekend emergency as the AC went out in 115 degree heat ...they were there the same day !! We just had the UV system installed in our unit and believe it was worth every penny. Great - He was here on time, explained what he was going to do, showed the one minor issue that needed to be addressed and completed the work all on the same visit. Had dealt with them shortly after we bought the house last year and they came out, listened to the issue and explained how to make the whistling noise go away without even accepting payment, which I was prepared to give. Integrity - not a word I take lightly - These folks have it!

Smooth. I have dealt with them for a few years now and always happy with their work. They installed my unit 4 years ago and did a wonderful job. Highly recommended.

The service went well, they did a good job, the only thing is they only gave one estimate on the ductworks which just a part of the air conditioning, They were able to get hold of the original guy that installed my air conditioner and everything worked out well, the initial guys that came was very vague on what they were going to do, and got hold of Andre, and eventually things worked out and got straightened out very well.

Done a wonderful job of taking care of it over the years.

Now Air Care says the their employee Rudy was fired and that they are not responsible for what he did to my unit. When I contacted Rudy on his cell phone He said that his boss at Air Care knew he was there and that they had authorized his use of company van and equipment to do repairs, now Air Care is denying this. This company is a scam stay away from them. I would not recommend them to anyone

It took two days and broke down two times but they jumped on to it right away. I am satisfyed with their work.

This company cold calls and is very high pressure. I relented and scheduled an appointment for $44.95 for 3 AC units with a pound of Freon for each unit. I was suspicious from the outset as this rate is far too cheap for any business to survive without them using it as a means to get their foot in the door. When I called the number they provided a woman answering the phone just answered with "hello" no company or name identification. When I asked for their company name she was hesitant to provide it and asked why I wanted to know. Only when I said I was a new customer calling to verify my appointment time did she become polite. When I asked for their website she said they didn't have one, but that they had been in business for 10+ years in Mesa. It seemed very strange for a business not to have one these days, but OK I thought. I then performed a Google search for their company (Air Cooled Heating and Cooling) and came up with nothing at all. I then typed in the business number they provided (623-217-3562) and came up with several trade publication and Craigslist ads for a company seeking HVAC service technicians, sales reps, and plumbers averaging $100K to $200K per year for their "lucrative" business. One ad said and I quote via cut and paste "AC SALES TECH NEEDED VALLEY WIDE!!!! SIX FIGURE INCOME!!!! TEAM PLAYERS ONLY NEED TO APPLY, NO WHIMPS. ONLY PEOPLE THAT DESIRE TO MAKE 125 THOUSAND DOLLARS IN THE NEXT 5 MONTHS NEED APPLY!!!!" This to me screamed "fly by night" company doing business for the summer in Phoenix, and "team player" sounds like it places profits over ethics. My concerns seemed validated when the service technician arrived I noticed that right away the operation didn't seem professional. The unmarked van pulls up with out of state license plates and the service tech is wearing a shirt that doesn't match the company name of the place. When I asked him why he replied their company van was in the shop and the company that called uses a different name because they are their telemarketing branch, but that they are called Air Care and he pulls out a business card that has a guys name crossed off and his name written in pen. All of this in combination made me think their offer was really too good to be true and I declined their service offer. Upon looking up Air Care on the web I am so happy I didn't allow them to work on my units as they obviously have a business model based on high pressure sales to offset the unprofitable initial service call fees. If it's too good to be true it probably is, and in this case I would stay clear of this company.

Don't do business with someone doing telemarketing. Get references from friends of someone they feel is honest and trustworthy. I was a bit suspicious from the start when the truck pulled up as there was no company name on the truck and it had a Colorado license plate on it. Buyer be ware!!

Air Care installed an AC unit at one of my rental properties in 2008. The installation guy pressured me to buy a big warranty. The unit has required repair twice since installation with outrageous charges. Of course, none of the repairs were covered under the "great" warranty I was talked into buying. At the last repair, the guy offered to "waive" the $1,000 bill if I bought a 5-year extended service warranty. The pressure to buy this "extended warranty" was incredible. It was literally impossible to speak to the guy in the office without him pushing the plan. By then, nothing this company did or said felt right. I called 3 other top Angies List AC companies and it turns out Air Care was charging me about double what these other companies would have charged. The "extended warranty" was nothing but a scam for them to come back year after year and charge me for more unneeded stuff. I talked to the owner of Air Care and he agreed to reduce the outrageous charges slightly. However, I looked at my credit card statement and they charged me for the service plan even though I said NO! Now, I'm sure I'll have a credit card dispute on my hands. Nice. In summary, unless you have money to burn on unneeded repairs or want to be pressured into buying useless warranties, avoid this company like the plague. P.S. When I spoke with the owner of the company and mentioned that his business practices could affect the reputation of his company, particularly on a resource like Angies List, he literally told me, "I don't care." Update Sept., 2011: Less than 2 weeks after the "repair" the exact same problem recurred. I didn't have a chance to pay them for the original service. Bryson with Air Care demanded to be paid before they would even consider coming out. I said that the original problem hadn't been fixed and I would pay when they fixed the unit. He hung up on me. Another update: I went back and looked at a "warranty" repair from 2009. Even though the unit was under the great warranty they sold me, they still charged me $325 for a capacitor. Today I discovered the part can be bought for $34 at a local AC supply house.

I really like the service they provide for me, they re very prompt and professional. They quickly came out and replaced the part that was busted on my a/c unit. Overall I was pretty satisfied with them. Their pricing was reasonable as well.

Company had a very good looking website. I had to call them twice to get a return telephone call. Company never visited to make estimate. Then they called me TWICE to just talk in generalities about Air Conditioning. They never did provide me an estimate. Totally weird business model. Avoid.
