ACME Locksmith

We really like him. He came within a week. There was no additional charge. He was very informative and very knowledgeable. He was very understanding. The price was a little high for what we wanted done.

All the workmen we had were really great and professional. They didn't try to sell us more than we needed. It was kind of like a puzzle and he just worked it out so that we got new locks where we needed them. We were able to salvage some of the other things and basically he came just to put in one lock and we ended up doing more but it was something that needed to be done. It was all very much in communication with us.

The locksmith was outstanding and couldn't be friendlier. Made some suggestions on how to re-key our locks that did not cost any additional money on the spot, but would save us additional money if locks ever needed to be changed again. Extremely professional and helpful.

It went very well. It was nice. I talked to my wife and she said everything was fine. It was great service. It was excellent.

Due to my car being broken into the night previously and my house key stolen, I called ACME for a quick change out of my locks with new keys on the same day. Very prompt, extremely courteous, insightful and a great relief that someone couldn't come into my house using my old key and lock, given that they had personal information of where I lived, as well. Great job, ACME! Would definitely do business again with this firm. Top notch.

Cylinder on existing lock could not be repaired. Matt (who is a true professional) explained that the entire locking mechanism would have to be replaced. We received a call from Acme a few days later explaining that the exact replacement was no longer made and a new lock would be $60 more than originally quoted. The lock was ordered and arrived about three weeks later. Matt returned and showed me that the company shipped the replacement with the wrong finish. He said we could use this one and the additional $60 would be waived. I told him to go ahead and use the new lock. Unfortunately it was damaged and he was forced to use a cylinder he had in his truck. That cylinder also had problems. All in all Matt was probably here 2-3 hours between both trips. Due to the problems encountered he felt that I was inconvenienced so he only charged one hour of labor. He also provided some additional keys at no charge. Honestly, while the locking mechanism was not the finish we ordered and took much longer to repair than expected, working with Matt was a pleasure and he did as much as possible to compensate for things that truly were not his fault.

All went well. Arrived on time and completed work promptly. A bit on the expensive side but it's a long drive out to our home.

Ryan called within the time frame they were expected. He advised that he was on his way. He determined that the lock could not be repaired and had a new one on the truck. The price was fair. He was quick with the repair but still spent time making sure the door and the other lock worked properly.

It was fine. He was wonderful. He came and unlocked my door and made me a new key. I was out of town at the time so I was able to meet him when I had returned.

I was not actually there; somebody else was. They actually mentioned that Big Mike did the service and that they absolutely love Big Mike.

Very professional. Matt was able to fix the door jam by working on the door hinges and showed me why the door was no longer locking and how he was able to correct it. He replaced the door jam and guaranteed his work for one year.

"My Ex has been doing and saying things I never expected; he has an anger problem. He has keys AND HE KNOWS HOW TO PICK LOCKS." I was scared, and, as soon as I said that to the owner, both the owner and Senior Tech Matt did everything in their power to help me. Matt came out that SAME DAY, and walked my property with me to show me how secure the house was and where I could make improvements. He was thorough and professional, showing me the pros and cons of the cost, quality and security level on what they could offer. Matt offered to be the same Tech that came out for the job so I would feel comfortable, and when we found out the parts wouldn't be in for THREE WEEKS, he came up with an alternative plan that would keep me safe until then. Matt even came ON HIS DAY OFF because it was the only time I could meet someone, and I was desperate to get at least the alternative plan in place. I cannot thank them enough. The service was well worth the price, and I would recommend them to anyone.

ACME was great1 He made some new locks for me so there were additional costs but he did a excellent job. He on time, clean, and very professional.

From initial contact until entry gained was less than 45 minutes. Incredibly fast. Made 2 extra keys for me in a jiffy as well.

We had just moved into the house and he replaced all of the locks. He was very thorough. He did the job in a very professional manner. I was very pleased with the service.

He installed a double dead bolt on our door leading to the garage. My mother lives with us and has Alzheimer’s and kept setting off the alarm so we needed a dead bolt. The service was great.

Provider found code number on the lock, which I had been unable to find. This made key replacement easier and less expensive. He also told me how to use Angie's list to get the best price.

Overall, the tech did a good job, however, the installation took twice as long as it should have since the tech needed to return to his truck several times since he did not have spare drill batteries for the drill and the only one he had was only minimally charged and had to keep recharging it to finish the job. In addition, he was very heat intolerant and required numerous breaks to "cool down" in his truck, despite the work being indoors in air conditioning. The quality of work was excellent and the duration of time did not cost me more since it was a fixed per job price, however, it did waste a good 3 hours or so of my time for a job that should have been done in about 1 hour.

Service, quality, and professionalism was outstanding. I highily recommend this company for locksmith needs.
