Response from ACME Locksmith
Unfortunately, when the locks are from multiple manufactures, they cannot be keyed alike. So others may learn from your experience, the test is this. If there is one key that slides into every keyhole, we can make all the locks work from a single key (new or existing). But if there is a lock that the key will not slide into, we can not make it work from the same key because the key will not go into the hole. Either that lock will need to be replaced with one using the same keyway or two keys will be needed. It's a restriction imposed by lock manufactures to encourage customers to buy the same brand of lock.

Description of Work: I'm actually not sure what the specific coupon I bought would provide, but |they did more than the coupon cost at no extra charge. They first made sure that they had the right key for my car so I wouldn't waste any time, and then it involved laptop work inside my car, etc. I never realized there was so much to getting another key (compared to the olden days I should say).
