ACME Locksmith

Meet Bobby at a Friends house while he was changing to keys to his house. My buddy was impressed, and when I heard the cost I was surprised. I called Booby (via the office number) to schedule an appointment. Made the appointment for Sunday ($10 more for a Sunday call). Bobby came out, on time, and went to every door to show exactly what needs to be done. Each lock is $12 to re-key. I didn't think that was an issue. Bobby even pointed out that he would adjust all the locks for smoother operation. 45 minutes later I was given Booby my credit card. Not only did he wave the "sunday" fee, headded in 1 more key (normally 2, I needed 3). Very professional, and really easy to work with. Need a re-key, call these guys!

We found Acme Locksmiths at a job site in a shopping center near our house. We made an appointment for a specific day and time. The technician (Bobby) called ahead to let us know he was on the way and gave us the time he'd be at the house. He arrived in a very professional vehicle that was also his "shop". He went right to work and when he found a possible issue, told me what to purchase at a nearby Home Depot. So I was able to get it and he installed the new item, re-keyed it as well and saved us time and money. Bobby was very professional. No chatter, went about his business without any delay, and was on his way in less than an hour. Acme Locksmiths accepted our credit card so we didn't need cash. And Bobby carried a remote internet device to swipe our card so we got an immediate Visa receipt on the spot. I highly recommend this company, and will use them again when I need a locksmith.

Excellent interaction and Service from initial phone contact thru Service Call. Knowledgeable staff, friendly and honest- an excellent combination. Matt was able to repair my door issues when I thought I was going to have to replace the whole door with frame, saving me hundreds of dollars. Highly recommended- will use again if needed!

In my personal opinion, this entry is advertising falsely on the Angie's List website. Within their advertisement, it is stated ""Service Area: Entire Phoenix Valley". But I was told Waddell was too far west; even thought it is within the Phoenix valley.

They came out early because I called and said I had an appointment. They rearranged their schedule and came out early to get the job done.

They have 24 hour service. They came out right away. They came at 8 or 9 pm. When I called they said it would take 1 hour but they were here in 35 minutes. A very lateral young man came and he got to work right away . He keyed the door so fast, I didn't realize he had already done it. It was A1 service. He was only here maybe 45 min to do the whole job. He cleaned up behind himself. The price was under $200 for all the work that he did. The equipment he brought was great, it was all cordless so he did not need to use my electricity.

The Technician (Matt) arrived on time he went through the house explaining exactly how he would do each doorway. Along the way he offered many security tips on how to better secure the home against potential burglars. He replaced all the hardware and keyed all the locks to work off of one key plus showed me how to reprogram my garage door openersand replaced the mailbox lock, then provided me with plenty of extra keys. He was courteous and very professional, I would definitely use this company again.

Acme Locksmith provided me with a quote over the phone for the requested work. They were able to schedule an appointment with me very quickly, and they were prompt to the appointment. I was very pleased with the quality of work and would not hesitate to call on them again.

The technician called to let me know he was on his way. He arrived about 10 minutes later. He went through the house and determined what we needed and charged a fair price. The work was completed within one hour due to the extra work he had to do.

Very impressed! Prompt and also received a call 45 minutes prior to their arrival and they were right on time. Alex was very professional, informative, and effecient. He also answerd my questions I had about another lock in my house I need changing. I was very impressed on every aspect of this company!!

Matt did a great job updating the locks and handles to all the exterior doors. He explained the benefits of the new locks and handles. He also shared several tips on home security.

Alex arrived on time and was immediately able to see the problem and fix it. We thought the whole lock would need to be replaced, but he was able to repair. He also provided good advice for other questions we had regarding door locks. Would definitely call Acme for any locksmith projects!

Alex arrived between the hours promised. We were fully expecting to replace the locks on both the entry door and the security door, however, upon inspection he determined that both locks were in good shape and was able to repair them instead of replace. We probably paid less than half of what we expected to pay for the replacements. I would definitely recommend ACME to anyone who asked.

representative showed up on time. he examined our lock and reccomended we replace it.. we agreed and he ordered a new one .he then returned and installed it. he left all the old parts for our inspection and keeping.

Thomas provided excellent service. He initially took my call to order service, and I was immediately put at ease by his friendly manner. Before the appointment, he called first to notify me of his arrival, and was completely punctual--which I really appreciated. He worked super fast, and answered all my questions in a polite and patient manner from beginning to end. An all-around great experience. Very pleased and I would highly recommend.

Violet, in the office, answered immediately, and was helpful and friendly. Aaron was assigned to come to my house to re-key all the locks in the house, but he also ended up changing out a locking doorknob, and a deadbolt. He, also, was friendly, patient, and professional. The work was done quickly with on-time service. I will definitely use ACME should I need such services again, but I will also recommend this company. As an end-note, Aaron indicated that ACME is collecting old keys, which are use to provide adult transition services for people with autism. This just makes the company even better in my estimation.

Alex called to say he was on his way and arrived right on schedule. We discussed what needed to be done and he completed the job perfectly. He was easy to talk to and provided a clear understanding of how he planned to address our issues and explained the options before starting the work. I cannot imagine a better experience and would use Acme for all my locksmith needs.

Fast excellent service.

I made an appointment with Acme Locksmith because I had purchasd an Angie's List Coupon. They arrived on time and checked out the specific door lock that I had called about. After doing some adjusting, the repairman discovered it wasn't really the lock that was the trouble, the door had shifted and the lock was not connecting properly. He removed the little short screws that held the door at an angle and replaced them with stronger and longer screws, which squared the door up and lo and behold, the lock worked like it was supposed to!!!!! How wonderful is that? We lived for 2 years with a non-working door and it took an intelligent serviceman to fix it! The serviceman continued, with our permission, to inspect the remaining locks. He discovered all of our home locks had been installed upside down and he correctly re-installed them and oiled all of them. I also asked about a Lockbox and he had one in his truck that would fill our needs. He went into great detail on how to program it and install it, which was great, because I am a visual person and written instructions don't always tell me what to do!!! I would call them again for servicing our home/car locks. The repairman was good enough to check out our car garage door openers that didn't work anymore, and detected that our "motherboard" was no longer working and we needed to call a garage door service company.

Everything went well. The offer included the cutting of the key and the programming of it. We would definintely go back if we need the same kid of service again in the future.

He called before arriving as planned. He arrived promptly and handled the repair very well. He also recommended some additional insulation around the door which I later did myself. He was very professional and competent.

I took advantage of an Angie's "Big Deal" for a coupon from Acme. I called Acme first to determine whether I needed a carpenter or locksmith; the corner of the house by the front door had "settled" or dropped considerably. This was the 2nd time a repair was done for the same reason and despite the house being 36 years old, the crack on the floor, above the door and the space above the front door, etc. were all indications of movement. The result was that the locks no longer lined up with the strikers on the frame. Matt felt he could rectify and advised me to go forward with the coupon purchase. He reviewed their pricing and covered all possible repair scenarios with me. I was given a 2-hour time frame for my appointment which eliminated the need to wait all day. He called to advise when he was on the way and showed up promptly on the early end of the time frame. He concurred with the reason for the problem and fixed it in less than 20 minutes. He was friendly, professional and charged only for fifteen minutes of labor resulting in an additional payment (over the cost of the coupon) of $5.25. After the transaction was completed he also reviwed the warranty on their work. While I can't control the sinking of the house, I can now lock the front door! I would use them again in a nanosecond.

I purchased the "Big Deal" ($70 worth of locksmith services for $35). I called to schedule an appointment and they were able to come out the following day. The service tech called prior to his arrival and showed up when he was supposed to. I showed he the locks I needed changed and let him work. He did most of the work in his work van and installed the new locks very quickly. I would have chosen this company even if I hadn't done the "Big Deal" since they are highly rated. I will use them again since I need an extra key for my car (a coded chip key).

Everything went smoothly. Told service rep what work I needed performed and he gave me an estimated price and a 2 hour window that was convenient for me to have the work performed. I then got a call the day of the appointment and confirmed the time the tech would show up. When tech arrived I showed him the 2 doors that needed hardware replaced and a half hour later he was ready for me to verify that everything was replaced to my satisfaction. Couldn't have gone easier. Broken door latch now works flawlessly and I don't have to fight the lock to open my service door. All was done for the quoted price. No unpleasant surprises.
