ACME Locksmith

My experience was very good. The staff was curtious and experienced. I had to wait a short time while other customers were being helped but that is understandable when a place is busy.

He found something even wrong with the way our lock had been installed before. He didn't charge us for extra work. It wasn't very much. He came right over, he was overall an A+. He just went over and above on everything.

The service was prompt and professional.

Showed up on time, swapped out all locks and even helped fix a deadbolt that wasn't installed properly. The cost was fair and the service was excellent. Definitely recommend.

We contacted them through Angie's list on a Sunday night and we got a call by 8 am Monday morning. They arranged to come out the same day and did a great job at a very fair price. I would recommend them to anyone.

I made an appointment and drove to their shop. I did not have to wait. They made the key and then they checked it in the doors and in the ignition to make sure the car would start. I was very pleased. If I had gone to a dealership it would have cost me close to $80. to have the same key made. Thank you.

Do to a miscommunication, we were locked out of our house with all of our keys left inside. After other attempts to try to get in, we needed to call a locksmith on a Sunday evening. After many different companies, ACME called us back saying that they had a locksmith that could come in 30 - 40 minutes. We were delighted! Bobby called us about 5 minutes later saying he was only 5-10 minutes away. He came, unlocked the door and we were back in the air conditioned comfort of our home. I think it got longer for him to get the invoice together then to unlock our door. He even called us later to make sure that he reset our locks so our key would work. He did not want us to find that out the hard way it did not work. Thank you!

I spent $50 on a Big Deal from ACME for a programmable auto key. I only have one key for my car (PT Cruiser), and it seems like the battery is fading a bit as sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. When I called to redeem my deal, they said that the deal didn't apply to remote keyless entry car keys. Seems to me they should have been MUCH more specific in their ad if that was the case. What is a programmable key if it doesn't do remote entry? I asked them if they could at least replace the battery in my existing key. He said he would get back to me on that and never did. There was no attempt to give me equivalent services (rekeying my house locks? Making another set of keys for me for my house? Something?) for the money I'd spent on the Big Deal.

It was the first time I had used them. It went well. They repaired a lock on our back door and did a security audit for the other doors.

Very happy with the service and selection. ACME made keys that none of the chain hardware stores could. I couldn't test all the keys until I got back to the RV I had them made for but they all worked like the originals. The gentlemen who assisted me was very helpful and also gave good info about floor safes which is something I've been interested in finding.

A lot of people say, "Why hire a locksmith? Save the money and do the work yourself!" but in this place, the previous owners had left a little creative work behind, so i liked having it straightened out. Figured I'd spend twice the time and still screw things up even more. Big Mike did well. Only complaints I'd have was that he left a little mess behind and dropped tools a couple times on a nice wood floor, but overall, great service. I had been since early when he arrived, and I forgot to give him the coupon I'd printed from Angie's List. When I called the office, they redeemed me the 10 bucks for the coupon as long as I sent them a copy. That was kind of a pain in the rear, but it did motivate me to hook up my computer and scanner.

We bought a new house and needed the locks rekeyed. They showed up on time and did the work. We are pleased and would use them again.

Acme was amazing. I called late afternoon and Mike showed up around 5:00 p.m. We had already purchased a deadbolt lock and had it rekeyed. Mike showed us a default in the lock and repaired it. He then installed the deadbolt into our security door in less than a minute. He was amazing! He even checked our other security doors and lubricated them since he was here on a service call. If I ever need a locksmith, ACME is the place I am calling; FAST, FRIENDLY and PROFESSIONAL SERVICE!! They even give you a coupon on Angie's list!!

As explained above, he fixed the doors so they lock. Glad I didn't ned more repairs.

Matt came to change the lock on our newly-acquired condo. He had given a standard price over the phone; however, the lock type was more complicated than he expected - he gave a good explanation why. In order to put in a new lock, he had to modify a lock he had so it would work smoothly. He was fast and efficient. We now feel much more secure and appreciate Matt's professionalism.

The locksmith who arrived at my house not only listened to what I had to tell him, but always let me know what he was doing - what he thought the problem was, how he was going to try to deal with it, etc. In the process, he made extra copies of my key - so that if it broke it the lock, it wouldn't be mine that was lost. After getting me into the house, he examined the locks, and showed me the damage that caused them to catch (I feel much smarter about how locks work, now). He had replacements installed (after explaining why the same problem wouldn't occur with them) and repeatedly tested quickly and efficiently. Because of his good work, I don't expect to need the services of a locksmith again anytime soon - but if I did, I would definately call Acme again.

WONDERFUL Mark came out within 1/2 hour on a holiday weekend and got my car unlocked in less than 5 minutes. Very personable and enjoyable to work with. Thanks!

Installer worked quickly. Job well done. He was a "C" in the personable category when he first arrived but moved up to a "B" by the time he left.

Mike from ACME provided a great service today. He called to let me know he was on his way, showed up on time, was very friendly and professional. Performed the work I wanted. The main office and tech were courteous and professional. The tech arrived on time and performed a quality installation which now prevents anyone from lifting the door off its tracks. I work at home and was unavailable to give him a $10 of $100 coupon before my wife paid him and he left. However, The receptionist at the main office cheerfully refunded $10 to our card the day after the original transaction posted. Great service all around.
