ACME Locksmith

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service. The ad was a little misleading because it was more or less giving the impression that the offer was for the key fob for the car. My daughter went all the way down there and took whatever they gave her and it was only a key to the car. So I called to clarify the offer and was told what I wanted would be $75 extra. I just hung up. My daughter said he was nice enough, but it just did not seem to be what we wanted or what we thought we were getting. I am giving him a C until he gives his advertising a better write up to clarify exactly what the customers are getting.

I should have asked for a refund on the deal since I couldn't use it. But I didn't. My fault.

Bought a used 350z. Only came with 1 key. Asked Nissan dealer how much for a replacement key. They said aprox 145 and had to leave car for a while to program. Acme was able to do it for only 59 with Angie's list coupon. Took only about 15 minutes to get the key cut. They had the special box to program the car to except the key. Over all, I saved lots time and hassle.

Sean at the Phoenix location took great care of me. I was in and out in less than a half hour and saved a bundle over what the Honda dealer wanted. Highly recommended!

They re-keyed the locks on my home. I was very pleased with their service. They were prompt and professional and I have had no issues with the locks since. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

)We checked the "list" and this company had great reviews (and lots of them) so we called for an appointment to have all of the locks in a new (to us) house re-keyed after moving in. We also inquired about a patio door lock they had advertised on their website. We called an made an appointment. The locksmith arrived promptly at the appointment time and immediately got to work. He re-keyed all of the locks, and made some additional keys beyond the customary number they normally provide. In addition the locksmith installed a patio door lock that is on the handle side of the door and above the handle (no more bending down to pull out a stick from the track). The benefit of the lock is it has pins that lock from the top and the bottom of the lock mechanism and the information provided said it would take more than 1000 lbs of force to pry the door open and with that much force most likely the glass would break before the frame mounted lock gave way. The lock also prevents the door from being lifted out of the track (one common way to break in. The work was completely promptly, and everything was fully explained to us. Plus the locksmith made a point of testing each of the duplicate keys he cut for the doors to make sure each one worked would work the locks. This was the service experience we have come to expect from the highly rated tradespeople found on Angie's List.

I couldn't have been happier with the service. The service provider was qualified, professional, honest and courteous. I will use them again the next time I need a locksmith.

Provider / Locksmith Mike was on time and professional. He went the extra mile from a service perspective. The original hardware selected did not work. Mike checked online with his phone and found an alternative at Home Depot. Unfortunately, Home Depot did not have the item in stock. Mike called me back and said he would pick the hardware up at a Locksmith supply house and be back in 40 minutes. He returned as promised and installed the new lock hardware. That's service! Not giving up and going the extra mile to complete the job. I'm very happy with my Acme Locksmith experience.

I ended up not using them because I had to drive out to them out in Mesa, which is far from my house. Their hours were also limited too for me. However, they were fine to deal with by phone.

I had to pick up the item at the providers store. Very helpful with installation.

Service was provided amazingly quickly after call. The team, Andy and trainee, were professional and most importantly knew what they were doing. Got the problem fixed quickly and discussed what possibly caused problem in new door and possible solutions if other problems developed

Came to the house promptly and changed all the door keys. Very good experience...

I've been preparing my home to rent. A few individuals who attempted to come into my home noted that the door stuck and wouldn't open. I thought for sure the door hardware had to be replaced. I contacted Acme primarily because of the positive reviews. Violet answered the phone and was very courteous in taking my request. She told me what to expect (a service person would call me between 10 -2p the next day). Sure enough, someone did call me. They came to my house very quickly and promptly. Matt was the service person and he was so knowlegeable. He recommended that the hardware not be replaced; instead he took the handle apart; cleaned it up and put it together. The work took less than 15 mins. I would use this service again. GREAT SUPPORT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Very responsive, did not seemed bothered with all the questions that I had asked. Finished task inside and outside of the house in approximately 30 minutes or so. Very impressed.

From my first inquiry (by phone) the people at Acme were exceptionally knowledgeable, responsive and friendly. Matt came out the next day and not only installed my items perfectly, but also thoroughly evaluated a few other areas of my home I wanted to secure. He went above and beyond just an installation to really help me understand everything. I was truly impressed with his honesty and skill. It went better than expected. I had told the movers (I relocated from Chi) NOT to lock any of the 4 footlockers, but they locked 2 anywy. One I knew would be easy, the WWII one not so much,but all was well.

I called on April 2 to order the re-keying of three doorknobs in our home. I was told they would be at our house between 1 and 4 the following afternoon and that they would call ahead. Service rep called on the 3rd, said he was running ahead of schedule and asked if he could come early. He actually arrived about 12:30. The work was completed efficiently and quickly.

One of our locks broke and we were unable to enter the house using that door. Called on Sat, but he couldn't come. Came on Sunday morning and didn't charge extra for that -- since he was unable to come when I called. Service call kind of high, but actual labor and parts were not, so I guess it's a wash. He was unable to fix it, so replaced it with a high-quality lock at a reasonable price. Bobby was friendly and helpful. We will definitely use him again.

Card received quickly and as promised

I used a Big Deal coupon for them. It cost a little more because they had to come in and install the locks and the big deal was for them to come in and pick it up, so I had them just come out. They came and put the lock into the arcadia door. They were very professional, punctual and honest.
