Description of Work: My pool pump was taking in air due to various leaks. The plumbing needed to be replaced from the top of the pump to the filter and the previous valve fitting needed to be drilled out. Union fittings were added to allow easy removal of the pump if needed. The intake Jandy valves orings were replaced. The filter was cleaned and the oring replaced. Pressure tested for leaks. Injected sealant into the front of the pump to prevent air intake. This cost a total of 289.10. Mike had to come back a second time due to air still getting into the system. He had to drill out the suction side of the pump and replace it with a union fitting. He also was nice enough to install to knew Jandy Valves which allow me to re-route the water flow from going through my pool/spa heater during the summer months. This cost an additional 384.30. I was pleased with the work and learned a lot watching Mike do his work. I checked for air in the system again on Sunday and there was still a minimal amount of air getting into the pool. Mike answered my text messages on a Sunday and walked me through some things to do and check. I was not able to get the air to stop coming in to the suction side of the pump. Mike said he would come out on Monday and determine where the remaining issues are. He pressure tested it again and found the Jandy Valve oring was still sucking air due to some calcium build up. He repaired the oring issue and replaced the valve. The pump is no longer taking on air and the pool looks great.

Description of Work: Inspected and adjusted water level, pulled apart and cleaned filter, replaced filter grids and lubed valves and O-rings.
