Description of Work: During a bi-annual service call, the tech told us that several things on our furnace needed to be replaced. We discussed the problems and he wrote up a order, took our credit card number, charged it, and rescheduled twice and then no longer answered their phones.

Description of Work: I have a contract with this company. I contacted the company on Saturday because my heat went out.

Description of Work: Remove and replace ductwork in the attic and relocate ceiling vents. While workers were in the attic, had 2 major water leaks, both causing water and property damage. The contractor denied responsiblity for the 1st leak in a small, old copper supply line for the evap cooler (which ultimately caused the most damage) and after some debate, did accept responsiblity for the 2nd leak, a screw puncture in the water main. He reimbursed for the plumbing repair and his subcontractor removed and replaced drywall and flooring. RE 1st leak, submitted to homeowners insurance which settled the claim but declined to renew the policy due to previous claims of burglary and hail damage. While his subcontractor was making the repairs, I was pressued into signing the work completion form, so the bank would release funds to the contractor. I refused to sign it before ALL the work was completed, including the repair from the damage from the water main leak. Also, when the sales agent first presented his estimate, it was agreed that some old vents and ductwork in the attic would be removed and discarded when the hall ceiling was open. That didn't happen. In fact, debri from their job was left up there. In all faiarness, the contractor DID install new vents and ductwork. However, it was not without additonal cost, stress, and disruption. We are done.
