The Cool Guy

This review is long overdue. I was referred to The Cool Guy by a friend who is a realtor who told me The Cool Guy does great work with very reasonable pricing. We planned to have our 22 year old Trane HVAC system replaced while a pool was being installed. Because of the tight spacing, the pool company had to use the side of the house for the bobcat where the A/C condenser was also located. Josh (the owner) said that the The Cool Guy team would be able to show up at 4 AM to remove the old condenser so that the pool company could start their dig a couple hours later. Now that is some pretty awesome customer service, since most companies won't start until their regular business hours! Once the dig was done, The Cool Guy team installed a new Goodman 16 SEER split system. They were very flexible with the scheduling (as soon as dig was done), and did great professional work. The air handler/furnace install in the attic looked so much better than the previous Trane system that was installed by the home builder (quality of the install, reinforcements, etc). In the winter I had a small issue where the heater did not turn on. I called The Cool Guy and they had a team out that same morning and the issue was fixed in less than 30 minutes. I was very impressed that they were able to respond so fast. In March, I scheduled the first full tune-up (included with a new system), and again their team was extremely professional and they did great work. Everything looked good with the system and in the report that was emailed via PDF, The Cool Guy team even included pictures of the readings that were done as part of the tune-up. Overall, of all the different HHAC contractors I've dealt with over the many years, The Cool Guy has definitely impressed me the most! I will definitely stick with them going forward! Sorry for the long review, but I wanted to make sure I mentioned everything.
