Dan came over to take a look at my yard and give me a quote. I'm new to the area so I shared with him that I had no clue what kind of plants would work for my front and back yard. He quoted me a price and then left. I reached out to him after to see how much it would cost to just do a portion of the yard. He said he would email me a quote. I waited and waited. Almost a week later I called him with no answer. I waited a few more days with again no answer. I finally texted him asking if he was going to email me my quote. I should have known right then that this probably wasn't going to be good. He finally called saying he had his grandson stayed with him last minute so that's why he hasn't gotten back to me. Mind you it's now been almost 2 weeks after he said he could give me a quote. I just responded I totally understand life happens but a call or text letting me know would have been appreciated. He then emails me a quote for putting in some palms, plants, and a new drip system in for the front and back. I reach out to him a saying I'd like to move forward so he tells me to go to a specific nursery to pick out my plants. Again, I have NO clue what will work as far as plants go. I spend a good portion of a day walking around with a very nice and patient gentleman from the nursery explaining why something would or wouldn't work. He then explains that my landscaper should actually be here with me to help me pick out what's best for me yard. Feeling a bit embarrassed because I had thought the same thing, I picked out what I wanted and left. A few days later, Dan calls me to tell me I picked out the wrong things and sizes. I told him I thought that if I picked out a less quantity that I could have a fewer bigger items instead. He then proceeds to tell me that is going to cost more now and I said that's okay, I understood because I had the nursery print out the cost of my order. I could tell this immediately irritated him. He said well that's not the price of the plants because he charges his clients more then what they cost. I asked why he would charge more for the plants then what they cost instead of just charging for his labor. He responded that's how he makes his money. I could understand him charging me more for the plants if he had been the one spending time to pick them out but it was MY time. He didn't like my questions and then proceeded to tell me this wasn't going to work out in a very rude voice and as I started to agree with him he hung up on me. Dan was super unprofessional and I would NEVER reccomend him to anyone.

This job was done in two stages due to the size of job and associated costs. The price was reasonable. While I could have had the work done cheaper, it would have been Cheaper work if you get my point. Dan is a registered, licensed, and bonded contractor in Arizona which in itself provides comfort snd guarantees. Dan's 2 teams were both efficient and proffesional. Dan was very responsive to all requests and communications. The results are nothing short of remarkable. I would recommend Dan Dawn and Arroyo Vista to anybody. Thank you Dan and Teams!

Everything was as expected and went as described. A couple of issues came of after the job was completed and the response to fix the issues was handled immediately.

I used them from Angie's List. I was more than pleased. I would give them high rating because their pricing was more than fair for the amount of work that they did. They were there when they said they would be there and did what we asked and they were very helpful and happened to make few changes that we didn't see. I had some over spray from some of the sprinklers and they were right out the next morning to correct that. We reside in Montana but we bought a house and we are putting it together for retirement purposes but I would recommend them to anyone.

This went very well. They started on time and even took pictures to show us the progress since we were not there to watch. When we came back to town there were a couple of minor details overlooked but Pat jumped right on it and took care of thm right away.

He set up a appointment to come and give a quote. He never showed nor did he call. Complete disregard for the customer.

Dan worked with me in my design wishes to ensure all would be highly functional and practical while looking its best so I would be the most satisfied with the results. The project was done very well professionally and aesthetically. The work was conducted continually until the project was done with completion being in a reasonable amount of time. Things were cleaned up every day and spruced up nicely at the end.

Dan was prompt. He listened to our wants and desires and provided a great plan for our patio remodel and extension. He had a great crew that was conscientious and very hard working. They cleaned up the front of the home every night before they left; and thoroughly cleaned the rear yard and removed all construction debris at project completion. And the project was completed promptly and within the target timeframe that was established when the contract was signed. I strongly recommend this company and will definitely hire them again.

The people who work for him are very good craftsmen. The finished product is beautiful. Dan came up with the design, and it was very creative. It took a little longer than we expected, but it is beautiful. He will be checking on it over the summer, and has guaranteed that if any of the plants fail, he will replace them.
