Decorating Den Interiors

Description of Work: It took TWO trips for them to come out and give me drape samples, as they had only brought what they thought I would like. How would I know what I like, if I don't see the product?! Second trip went a little smoother...finally picked out the drapery material for the family room and master bedroom. After choosing the materials...it was time for measuring. This took them TWO extra trips, as the drapes were too low in the family room, and too high in the master bedroom. They also made a beautiful headboard - I must admist turned out perfect! Not much to measure there!!! They brought "installers" the 2nd time around. All they did was lower the hooks in both rooms. When they lowered the drapes in the master bdrm, you could clearly see the rod when you walked into the room. what I thought they were doing is lower the ROD....but once again, they just adjusted the hooks. Now they are too high again !!!!! They actually raised the rod in the family room! One of the panels in the family room was measured wrongly. they had to have the one panel CUT in half. This was done unprofessionally by the "designer". This caused a one inch GAP from one end to the other on the bottom of the drape. I was told I could "tack" it to the baseboard !!!!!!!! Remember, I have paid OVER TEN THOUSAND dollars for these 2 rooms !!!!! I told them I loved the material, but the little glitches still had to be fixed and that the drapes in the master bedroom had to be lowered (again). She said that I had "signed off" on them, and that it would cost me $65.00 per trip!!! I mentioned to her that I DID NOT sign off on them. She said, that I had, by verbally saying I loved the material !!!! Needless to say, I will NEVER recommend, or use them again. I will be writing a letter of complaint to them today, with a copy going to the head office of the franchise dept. in Maryland. No one should be spending that kind of money, and not getting the proper service.
