At first encounter with the owner, Albert, we were happy with the attention he gave on ideas to upgrade the standard landscaping package that comes with every new home purchase in this new home subdivision. After we agreed to pay extra for specific upgrades before the house purchase was even closed, things started to unravel fairly quickly. We paid money up front for fence stucco to be applied before the builder painted our fence. That ended up being a rush job. It hasn't held up well to this day. Lots of cracks have formed and chunks have fallen off within the first year. We also paid 1/2 up front for extended pavers, lighting, and plants that weren't completed before we were asked to pay more so could meet his pay roll. It was difficult to get ahold of him once we closed on the property. He didn't call for several weeks. He said he had been ill. We said we understood. Things happen. However, the entire job has not held up. We've had to repair or replace irrigation lines, electrical runs and plants due to poor installation and inadequate materials for appropriate use. We should have taken bids but made the mistake of thinking the company would stand behind their work due to their association with the builder, but the builder makes no warranty on upgraded landscaping. Live and learn. We would not hire this company again.
Description of Work: Landscaping upgrades in addition to the homebuilder front yard package he was required to install with our new home purchase.

Our initial response is that we love our yard, it is very relaxing and what we asked for, superficially. As time has passed we realize that much of the work was done with many shortcuts. We have had to repair the lighting, irrigation tubing, and many plants, due to improper installation. The plants were put into the ground, in small holes with no room to grow. The irrigation hoses were buried less than 3 inches below the rock. We have had irrigation hoses flood the yard while gone (because the workers tied them off with tie wire, rather than using the proper end caps. My biggest complaint with the company, is the lack of willingness to stand behind their work, if there is anything wrong after the final payment, good luck getting him to answer the phone. We did not do our homework and get multiple bids for the work, our mistake.! We now realize we likely paid way too much for what we received. Lesson learned.
Description of Work: The owner met with us and helped plan out the back and front yard landscaping to include rock walls, a fire pit, pavers, multiple plants, wooden pergola. We were very pleased with the designing and service prior to the final payment. The owner is a very good salesman and has creative ideas.
