Cooler Tymes has the most professional staff, response time, and like most all the other reviews, I left feeling very satisfied and happy with them. They saved me money, addressed my concerns and handled everything very quickly. They thoroughly disscussed all my options and why each option would be good or bad. Mike came to our house to service both of our A/C units in preparation for summer. He looked at our furnaces, as well, to replace faulty parts. He did not have the specific parts on hand, so he went to get them and returned immediately to our residence to finish the job. He was honest in informing us of the problems and was quick to fix them. There were no "bait and switch" attempts at telling us he would fix one thing and then try to add onto it as many other companies do. His pricing was extremely fair and the job was done right! Our A/C unit has not worked this well in the 4 years that we have been in this home.

This is the second time we have had Mike come out to service our a/c units. He responded both times very quickly. Courteous, reasonably priced, and punctual. We will use his services again as needed.

I bought my home a few years ago as a foreclosure, the outside AC unit had been stolen at some point but the bank planned to install one before I moved in. The air handler in the crawl space was still there. True to their word, the bank had an outside unit put in the day before I moved in. However, the air handler was designed for R-22 and the outside unit was designed for R-410A. There was some sort of converter put in between, and I was told this was fine and shouldn't cause any issue. But of course, issues did crop up. The house stopped cooling, I called out the company who originally put it in and said they needed to refill the Freon. A week later, the same thing happened. I called Cooler Tymes to have them take a look, and apparently there was some problem with the converter unit and Freon was just leaking out like crazy. Neither the bank nor the originally installers wanted anything to do with it and said it was my problem, it was working fine when they installed it. The only fix was to completely replace the air handler, since you can no longer get new outside units to work with R-22. I got a couple of quotes from other companies, but Cooler Tymes was by far the most reasonable. I selected them and they came out just a few days later. Unfortunately, the access to the crawlspace was a bit too small for the new air handler, and some drywall had to be broken off around the edges to make it fit. Mike went above and beyond by going to Lowe's, buying some molding, cutting it to size, and putting it around the crawl space entrance so you couldn't even tell that anything had been done. The work was done quickly and after a year I've not had any problems with the system.

I'm a new homeowner and stressed out about our broken AC unit. In my opinion Cooler Tymes is by far the best AC Company in the Valley. Cool Tyme installed all three New units 4 years ago upon purchasing our home. Previous units were stolen while home was vacant. Mr Mike and Crew showed up right on schedule and quickly, and professionally installed all three units in a very short time (2 days). The A/C condenser was not responding via the thermostat. Air was flowing from the vents, but the air was not conditioned. It was discovered that the A/C was not entirely connected to the fuse in the breaker box. After securely re-attaching the A/C wire, the condenser quickly responded. The coolant level was .75lb low per unit, and coolant was added to the premium level. The condensers were washed off with water from the hose, and all rock and debris was removed from under and around both units. One unit was moved a few more inches away from the house to increase its efficiency.

Great, I have had Mike at Cooler Tymes work on another house u had. He always answered the phone and responded on short notice. Mike was very prompt and arrived to my home at the time promised. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about what was needed and also provided customer education. He had the parts available on his truck and completed the repair same day which was very nice. Mike also showed me a few items that were a concern but no pushy sales and only indicated that those were issues to keep an eye on. He was very honest and only quoted for repairs that were absolutely necessary to have my A/C working 100%.

Mike fixed what was broken and I've had no recurring issues.

We have been fortunate to use this company two times. Both times due to our air conditioner not cooling our house. Each time, I called Cooler Tymes (and dealt with Mike Greco). He has responded quickly both times, with professional, timely service. The 1st problem that we had was two years ago, and was fixed timely, and without breaking the bank. This last service call was on a Sunday after 5pm. He came to our house at the time he said he would be there, he diagnosed the problem (a rusted cord) and fixed the problem, all within a hour. He explained exactly what he was doing, as he was doing it. He charged us for 1/2 a service call as it turned out to be something easily correctable. I would recommend Cooler Tymes/Mike Greco to all my friends and family.

Mike is an expert at troubleshooting. He is truthful and will often make an economical repair instead of always recommending replacement like most companies in our area. I trust all my work to him.

It was a Saturday and all the sudden we heard a high pitched noise coming from the furnace and smelled something burning. We called Mike immediately and within and hour he was at our house fixing it and even had the part on hand. He took the time to show my husband and myself the problem. We have had him come out a few times for ac tune ups and a furnace repair. You can see he has a passion for his work, he is not just in it for the money. If you want a knowledgeable man, he is your guy.

Service provider spoke to my husband on the phone and was very professional, courteous and listened to our needs per the home inspection report we were working with. Upon his arrival (on-time) he was again, very professional, courteous and took the time to review the list of items needing to be addressed. He was communicative throughout his time at our home, provided exactly what we requested. He was also patient and interactive with our curious 1 year old and even located a bag of forgotten belongings in the attic and brought it down for us. These personal touches go a long way in our book and only serve to enhance the repair services that he performed that day as well.

Top rated equipment installed expertly.... Mike helped me out with a quote on a new system for our house. Our builder Airflow unit was functioning, but was super loud and I knew it was just a matter of time. I had a few others give me a quote and didn't like their equipment, cost or sales tactics. Like offering me a "free cruise"... or a Costco card as a rebate. Why not just give me the fairest price up front instead. Mike was good to talk to and made it simple. He told me about the equipment, was very knowledgeable, and it was all top of the line American Standard products that have been the top rated equipment for years by Consumer Reports. Cooler Tymes standing with ROC and BBB were great as well as the yelp reviews so it was really just about cost at that point. Mike was very straightforward with the pricing and sent me everything in writing and it was less than the others by a substantial amount. His people were top notch friendly guys and were in and out with as little fuss as you could probably have with people in your attic and outside replacing a whole system. We've noticed the temperature being more stable, the system is whisper quiet and our electric usage has gone down. I'd definitely recommend Cooler Tymes if you need service or a new system. Cheers

I searched the Internet to find a good AC company and stumbled upon Cooler Tymes after reading reviews on yelp for another company. This reviewer said that the price quote was too high from that company and said they called Cooler Tymes and got a second opinion which was a lot lower and went with Cooler Tymes and was very happy. So I decided to read Cooler Tymes reviews on yelp and called Mike @ Cooler Tymes and we were glad we did. We saved about $145.00 and we decided to write this review after join Angies List.. Was through and made it so I could understand

My ac unit stopped blowing cold air on 17 March 2015 in the afternoon. Mike from cooler Tymes was the first person I called after reading several reviews on his company. After speaking with him over the phone for just few short minutes I knew I was making the best decision to use him and his company. I explained over the phone what had happened and what I thought was wrong with my unit. He assured me that it probably was not as bad or expensive as I was thinking. He asked my availability and worked with me to schedule a time to access and fix my unit. The next morning worked for me and for him. The appointment was scheduled for 18 March at 0800. Mike arrived 10 mins early, introduced himself and asked to see the ac unit giving me a issue. Right from the beginning he told me what he was going to do, inspect on the unit. The entire time during him working on the system he told me before he did anything what it was suppose to look like, or a reading is suppose to be. I liked this because it showed me he knows what he Is doing and that he was not lieing about anything. The price was exactly what he said it was going to be. His punctuality was spot on. His professionalism was what I would expect from a midwesterner. You don't see service like this in AZ.
