We always strive to only repair or replace what you need, up sales are against policy! We wont recommend unnecessary work on your AC or heating system. Cooler Tymes is known as “The Valley’s Cooling and Heating Specialist”, and it’s for good reason. We perform each service right the first time to keep your home running properly for years to come. Everything is done to code, and we have yet to have a call back to fix a reoccurring issue. Using a very clear vision, Cooler Tymes believes in the following: Be honest, dependable, reasonable and treat every home as if it were our own. Our affordability also incentivizes our customers from coming back and sending their referrals. We pride ourselves on our speedy responses to calls (after all, living in a state that hits 120 degrees, is there a choice?), and we love to take the time to fully educate our customers on the products and services we provide.

It was a Saturday and all the sudden we heard a high pitched noise coming from the furnace and smelled something burning. We called Mike immediately and within and hour he was at our house fixing it and even had the part on hand. He took the time to show my husband and myself the problem. We have had him come out a few times for ac tune ups and a furnace repair. You can see he has a passion for his work, he is not just in it for the money. If you want a knowledgeable man, he is your guy.

Service provider spoke to my husband on the phone and was very professional, courteous and listened to our needs per the home inspection report we were working with. Upon his arrival (on-time) he was again, very professional, courteous and took the time to review the list of items needing to be addressed. He was communicative throughout his time at our home, provided exactly what we requested.
He was also patient and interactive with our curious 1 year old and even located a bag of forgotten belongings in the attic and brought it down for us. These personal touches go a long way in our book and only serve to enhance the repair services that he performed that day as well.

Top rated equipment installed expertly.... Mike helped me out with a quote on a new system for our house. Our builder Airflow unit was functioning, but was super loud and I knew it was just a matter of time. I had a few others give me a quote and didn't like their equipment, cost or sales tactics. Like offering me a "free cruise"... or a Costco card as a rebate. Why not just give me the fairest price up front instead. Mike was good to talk to and made it simple. He told me about the equipment, was very knowledgeable, and it was all top of the line American Standard products that have been the top rated equipment for years by Consumer Reports. Cooler Tymes standing with ROC and BBB were great as well as the yelp reviews so it was really just about cost at that point. Mike was very straightforward with the pricing and sent me everything in writing and it was less than the others by a substantial amount. His people were top notch friendly guys and were in and out with as little fuss as you could probably have with people in your attic and outside replacing a whole system. We've noticed the temperature being more stable, the system is whisper quiet and our electric usage has gone down. I'd definitely recommend Cooler Tymes if you need service or a new system. Cheers

Mike and his crew did an excellent job! Very professional and informative. Mike explained exactly what they were doing and about the equipment, and was very patient with our questions. We did our research on several companies, receiving bids and Cooler Tymes was the most affordable He has also repaired our old unit several times and never tried to sell us anything we didn't need and is someone you can trust. I searched the Internet to find a good AC company and stumbled upon Cooler Tymes after reading reviews on yelp for another company. This reviewer said that the price quote was too high from that company and said they called Cooler Tymes and got a second opinion which was a lot lower and went with Cooler Tymes and was very happy. So I decided to read Cooler Tymes reviews on yelp and called Mike @ Cooler Tymes and we were glad we did. We saved about $145.00 and we decided to write this review after join Angies List.. My ac unit stopped blowing cold air on 17 March 2015 in the afternoon. Mike from cooler Tymes was the first person I called after reading several reviews on his company. After speaking with him over the phone for just few short minutes I knew I was making the best decision to use him and his company. I explained over the phone what had happened and what I thought was wrong with my unit. He assured me that it probably was not as bad or expensive as I was thinking. He asked my availability and worked with me to schedule a time to access and fix my unit. The next morning worked for me and for him. The appointment was scheduled for 18 March at 0800. Mike arrived 10 mins early, introduced himself and asked to see the ac unit giving me a issue. Right from the beginning he told me what he was going to do, inspect on the unit. The entire time during him working on the system he told me before he did anything what it was suppose to look like, or a reading is suppose to be. I liked this because it showed me he knows what he Is doing and that he was not lieing about anything. The price was exactly what he said it was going to be. His punctuality was spot on. His professionalism was what I would expect from a midwesterner. You don't see service like this in AZ.

For starters, he was running late and gave us a courtesy call, which was awesome. He then called to say he was almost there and it ended up only being 20 min past the appointment. We were very satisfied with the total process and repair and will highly recommend Cooler Tymes for anyone who is looking for AC work. Look nowhere else, call Cooler Tymes and save "Tyme" and relax your mind.

Mike was very respectful and honest. I found out my unit was a replacement and was still in great condition. All it needed was recharged and a little rewiring. Great service, quick response, and responded very quickly.

Upon inspection, cleared drain line to upstairs system, added refrigerant, replaced motor on outside unit which was noisy and not functioning properly. He explained that the system will now run more efficiently which seems highly probable. I do not hesitate to recommend Cooler Tymes to anyone.

Everything was fast and mike did a great job! This was the second time we have used him and both times he has out to our house within 30 min and the problem was fixed. I would recommend him to anyone.

Last year, we started having some problems with our air conditioner. We have been expecting it because it's the original from when we first moved in about 20 years ago, but the timing was very bad to say the least. We needed to make it through one more Arizona summer because we couldn't afford to replace it last year. We called a company out and all they said they could do was replace the whole thing. They refused to do repairs to make it last another year or so, and they kind of made us feel like it would be impossible to do so. We called Cooler Tymes next and Mike came out to take a look. He totally understood our situation and did not hassle us about replacing it. He checked it out and found out that the unit outside was really dirty and the blower fan blades were covered in dirt. Hey, it happens in Arizona, so that's no surprise at all. Mike ended up cleaning it thoroughly and that was really the only repair that was needed. He still recommended replacement whenever we could afford it since it is so old and on its last legs, but didn't pressure us -- it was just his honest advice. Well, after the unit was cleaned (and it looked like a lot of work by the way, so I feel like "cleaning" is an understatement here) it cooled the house way better. Our electric bills were noticeably lower as well because it wasn't working as hard to cool the house anymore. It ended up lasting through the rest of the summer, thank goodness! Well, the time has come and we are finally ready to replace it before it gets too hot this summer. We don't want it breaking completely right when it is the hottest! We are definitely going to work with Cooler Tymes and Mike to replace it soon.

Our a/c started breaking down at the end of summer last year. We had an a/c company come out and look at it, but they wanted to charge us a ridiculous amount to replace the system. We decided to just wait and see how long it would keep working rather than dish out the money at the time. Well, it's starting to get hot again, so I figured it was time to see what we could do about our a/c situation. Did lots of research online to see what my options were, and ended up calling Cooler Tymes and 2 others to get an estimate. Cooler Tymes was by far the lowest, which could be a concern, but their reviews online (Google and Yelp) seemed really good. Plus, I always like supporting local/small businesses rather than the big guys. Mike came out that same day to check everything out in person, explained everything in great detail, and set up a plan to get the whole a/c and gas furnace replacement. He and his guys did a great job and were very friendly/professional. They got it all done and left everything clean, which I was really happy about :) Mike even installed a really neat new thermostat for no extra cost -- it's a color, touch screen, wifi-connected thermostat and I've definitely enjoyed using it so far. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and have no complaints at all. Wish we would have just called Cooler Tymes last summer... could have had all of this done sooner! They were fast and did very high quality work for an extremely competitive price. I would recommend Cooler Tymes to anyone who needs a/c or heating work done.

Cooler tymes performed the well check and found a few items that needed to be addressed. These items were fixed same day and the buyers were ensured that if there were no further issues. He also instructed them that he could be back out right away if any other concerns come up. There were a few other items on the inspection report that were an easy fix and these items were approved by the buyer to correct and were corrected the same day.
Mike is a very detailed person and has never let me down on any repair work. He is my first call when I have work that fits into his expertise. I recommend him to all my co-workers and clients without hesitation.

Mike is a great guy! He responded quickly, diagnosed the problem quickly and gave me options. Instead of trying to sell me a whole new unit, he found a new compressor and replaced what was needed. He is a great guy to work with and is trustworthy.
