Lathrop Pool Service & Repair

Description of Work: The Home Warranty Company sent this guy out to fix our pool We had the same guy two years ago and the service was not great. But he did perform and repair. The problem was that we had to pay an additional $250 to him for the "sand" for the filter, which he said the company would not cover. We did not argue and paid. The week the home warranty service said they were sending out this same guy. I waited a few hours for him to call and when he didn't I called the phone number given to us. He said that he had not received anything yet from the home warrantycompany. To make a long story short, he said the repair would not be covered as he had contacted the service and they told him it was not covered. The home warranty servicethen called us and after speaking to us, they approved the repair. The warranty service said they would call Lathrop Pool Service and let them know the repair was covered. I called and left a message with Lothrop Pool Service. They called me much later that day and said they had not heard from the warranty company. They indicated they would be out the next day and would call and let me know what time. At this point, we had sat in our home and waited for him for a day and a half. He never did call, just showed up around 1:00 pm. He said the home warranty stated they would not cover the unit that needed to be replaced. Basically, I think he didn't want the job because it was not enough money or was too much work. He had called the home warranty company and talked them out of covering the repair. He stayed about five minutes and told my husband the pool would be fine until we decided to pay for the replacement of the unit. My husband told him he would do that sometime next month. The next morning the unit was leaking badly. I called Lathrop Pool Service and was told the unit needs to be replaced. But there is a way to by-pass the unit that was leaking. I was told they would be out that day. They never called not did they show up at my house.

Description of Work: our home warranty since this jerk out to our house to fix our pool motor and they did a half a** job and the very next day it broke when we turned it on so we called them to come fix it and he said we would have to call home warranty company to file another claim and that it was not his problem and hung up. i called back and the drunken jerk cussed me out and threatened us. this guy should not only be out of bussiness but should be in jail.

Description of Work: Serviced malfunctioning spa jets; repaired pool equipment; trained me in the proper maintenance of the pool equipment!
