Description of Work: Built a structure to hold and install 48 panels for a 10.4 KW system. The system has been up now for over 3 years and has worked as expected and reduced my electric bill to $22 per month for 8 months out of the year, The other 4 months ( Sumer, usually with temps in the 100 to 120 range) have been reduced to $50 -$100 per month.

+ -1 moreWe wanted to take advantage of the rebates and credits for alternate energy sources. Scott came to our home to evaluate our electrical needs and provide an estimate. He was professional and not "hard-sell". After agreeing to the estimate, we waited a few days for the equipment to arrive. The GLSI team that installed our solar panels was professional and knowledgeable. When we had any questions, Scott either had an immediate answer, or researched and replied promptly. The whole experience with GLSI was excellent - they are professional, prompt, thorough, and knowledgeable. And the best part? They accurately estimated what our power requirements were, because we haven't paid for power in the nearly 2 years since we got the panels! Way to go, GLSI!

Description of Work: I called on Green Light Solar for a bid on a Photovoltaic (PV) System that would pretty much eliminate my average electric bill of $200+ a month. My main concern was I didn’t want the panels on the roof of the house if possible. We discussed a number of alternatives, some of which were a combination of panels in various locations including the house, but the one we decided on was an attached shade/carport that would handle all panels with room for future maintenance, like panel cleaning. The project began within a few days of signing the contract and was completed within seven weeks, keeping in mind that the shade structure was the most time consuming. The system is up and running and performing as specified or better. The crew that did the work was knowledgeable, professional, considerate, and meticulous about detail. I could not have asked for a better team to work on my behalf. Thanks Martin, Ralph, Bill, Mike, Randy, and Scott. I would highly recommend Green Light Solar to anyone looking to go Solar.
