Fripps Construction

After waiting several months, I only had a trench dug for the wall and a pad built for the garage with some forms finished for the foundation. I decided to hire another contractor to take over. As soon as he found out it was Fripps work, he told me to make sure a permit was pulled. There was no permit pulled for the pad, the garage, or the block wall!. This scam artist tried to royally screw me over. You have been warned, stay away from this bozo.

Not sure if George Ripps is still running the company or his daughter, but my dealings were with George. The man is a liar and tried to cheat his way out of the contract mulitple times. He promised the house 9 months after signing the initial contract, the foundation wasn't even started by that date. He LIED about the city passing new ordinaces so therefore he would need more money. He tried to get out of the contract by accusing my of not following it and not being in communication with him. In reality, the price of the construction and land had appreciated so he wanted to sell it at a higher price, a tactic he has used before in the Kingman and Bullhead City area. If you do deal with him, make sure you have a lawyer review the contract, don't be intimidated by his empty threats of lawyers and cancelling the contract or let him push you around.
