Description of Work: Steve from Whetstone Plumbing helped us recently by unclogging a vanity sink drain. Whetstone Plumbing has come to our aid a number of times in the past several years. The service is always good, professional and we especially like the fact that Steve cleans up his work area during and after the repair.

 + -1 moreAll went perfectly! This was an SOS situation. Prompt! Very knowledgeable! Friendly and professional at the same time. Very nice, low-key temperament. Area clean after installation. Cleanly dressed; work truck well stocked. He or office manager phones ahead to clear his arrival. Office manager very efficient. I really don't want other plumber taking care of my home.
Description of Work: Exchanged malfunctioning water heater with Ace Hardware, took care of all necessary paper work & installed new heater. All the time adhering to special guidelines due to my disability, Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, MCS. [May 2014 installed water line for 2 outside faucets for yard. Used Whetstone Plumbing 3 times prior to March 2015.]

 + -1 moreWe have used Whetstone Plumbing several times and will only use them in the future. Their prices are up front, based on time and material which is reasonable and the way pricing should be. I've received estimates in the past from other plumbing companies. They use some kind of book or pricing guide which, cannot estimate how long the task will take and cannot explain the cost, ie. labor, material, etc....To have a garbage disposal removed/replaced with a unit I purchased was estimated at twice the price based not on time (that I know of) but on some price guide provided by the management. Also, most plumbing companies charge to come and do an estimate. Whetstone plumbing is experienced and can give you a good estimate of cost for something based on past experience, material cost and labor charge (per hour). Pretty simple...the way I like it.
Description of Work: Fixed a loose/rocking toilet in the spare bathroom. It required the toilet be removed cleaned/scraped and reseated using wax seal.
