It went great! They came reviewed, gave me an estimate, and came back and fixed it. I would definitely contact them again.

A fellow named Schuyler came by on a Monday to discuss my project. He was professional and had awesome ideas to facilitate the job. He told me he would have a proposal that evening or the next day. However, the proposal never came, until 4 days later I figured out who owned Core, and emailed him. He emailed me promptly and told me that his business at this time is "chaotic", and he also told me that he had told Schuyler that he was not allowed to give me an estimate, but that another worker would (did not say why), someone "who knows more about estimates". I got an estimate later in the day that was only slightly related to the project request. It was clear from the estimate that they are trying to upsell me. The owner of this company is attempting to sell services that are not requested. I believe he is micromanaging his workers, and attempting to market customers without reliance on the worker's knowledge of the customer's actual request, to increase the cost of the bid. This might explain why the owner said that they are experiencing chaos, because they are off track, not paying attention to the customer, and not following up one the customers they see. Schuyler seemed talented, but I will be unable to use him.

I was very happy with the service I received. Aaron arrived promptly for both the estimate and repair. During the estimate, he mentioned that a code showing in my old box indicated that my valve may need repair or replacement, but when the box was replaced, he found it was not necessary. It would have been easy for him to replace it at an additional charge. He took time to explain how to set the box and charged me exactly the amount of the estimate.

Great! The crew worked hard and did a good job. They came all the way to our home in Casa Grande, well south of Chandler. They discussed the project and had a bid in by the next day. The old system was replaced and an entirely new, warranteed one was put into place with more control and efficiency, and no more leaking lines. They were efficient, explained the system clearly, and helped me learn to use the app to control it before leaving. They also put the yard back into good shape after they finished digging everything up. We would recommend them for your irrigation work!

Overall a pretty good job. That said there was a miscommunication between the boss and the workers which resulted in one line that wasn't supposed to be taken out was removed. They took care of the issue with a new line. The other thing that I think would help their business would be to reconfirm the appointment a day or two before the work was to be done. Overall a pretty good job and because of the work they did, I will ask them to give a landscaping project bid sometime in the future.

Aaron was extremely responsive and punctual. He is a great communicator and followed up with me to see how the new system was working. The project went exactly as he explained and I feel I got a good service for the price. Overall, I was extremely glad I went with Core Sprinkler.

Aaron scheduled an appointment the following business day, and arrived on time. He took care of everything quickly and at a reasonable price. My mom was so happy, she shared her experience with me, so I thought I'd leave a review here.

I recently purchased an older home, and have worked with Core Sprinkler to patch failing irrigation lines periodically over the past year. I was having too many lines fail, so I asked for a quote to replace the entire system. The quote was reasonable, and included all new lines, new valves and a flow meter. Core had previously installed a Hydrawise controller which works awesome. As always, I'm extremely happy with the Core Sprinkler team's work. My yard is about 1/3 acre, and all rock with plants and trees. When the job was completed, it was like the crew was never here - it actually looks better than when they started! I highly recommend Core Sprinkler

Aaron did a great job with the estimate. It was detailed with line items, pics, and a better price than most competitors. He was professional and got all the details when we walked around. His team showed up promptly at 630am and it only took them several hours to do the install and test. I highly recommend Core Sprinkler over the others!

I had a great experience with Core Sprinkler! I wanted to replace the old drip irrigation with a tree line and a shrub line. I chose Core Sprinkler after getting 3 other estimates. They arrived at the scheduled time. They measured and took pictures. They sent me a detailed estimate / invoice through Joist. The estimate was competitive and actually the best. Their payment plan allows you to pay half before the work is started. They answered all my questions during the estimate and afterwards. The email responses were prompt. The main reasons for choosing them were the detailed estimate, they were friendly and honest, and the estimate cost was competitive. They did a great job and cleanup afterwards. They even set my drip irrigation for both my tree and shrub lines for the season. They gave me a diagram so I'd know where the irrigation lines were laid. They followed up afterwards to make sure I was satisfied with the work done. I am very happy and I would highly recommend!

Aaron contacted me immediately to set up an inspection, provided a written quote the same day, and returned to do the repairs earlier than expected. He was extremely professional and courteous... but BEST OF ALL he walked me through a new system and how to adjust the watering schedule with the changing season. They cleaned my yard afterwards and even offered to clean up my landscaping mess!!! We look forward to working with Aaron in the future and are recommending his company to family and neighbors.

Aaron returned with an e-mail within hours. He came out the next morning, figured out the problem and replaced the existing Orbit timer with a new Hunter timer. He checked out the system to everything was working correctly. Core Sprinkler will be my “go to” company for future work.

I contacted TWO other highly rated Angies List providers, in addition to Core Sprinklers. One was responsive but couldn’t perform an assessment for a quote until end of November (seriously) and they couldn’t perform the install of the replacement until mid December. The other one still hasn’t bothered to respond. Aaron from core systems responded to my request on Friday night/ Saturday morning, performed the assessment on Monday pm and replaced my system bright and early Tuesday morning. Excellent service, clean install, impeccable communication—pretty much the epitome of what companies used to pride themselves on. I highly recommend them.

Great. Aaron gave me an overview assessment of our sprinkler system. He emailed me an estimate of what needs to be fixed and the cost. He also repaired a broken sprinkler head.

Aaron responded quickly to my SOS call. He performed a walkthrough, diagnosed the issues and had an estimate to me in short order. While a couple of the other vendors I consulted expected ME to diagnose the problem and walk them through the issues, Aaron was able to run the system and ascertain the specifics independently- as I’d expect an expert to do. I truly appreciate his efficiency and that he provides a line item estimate detailing all the work. He was able to get me on the calendar that week and his crew was great. They moved rocks, placed new lines in my entire front and back yard and yet I saw no trace of them being there- other than my new non-leaking system! I also love that Aaron follows up to make sure things are perfect and running smoothly. I’ve already recommended them to everyone I know!

If you do not read any further than the first sentence, Core Sprinklers (Aaron) is a poor excuse for an irrigation company and do not use them. Use the irrigation/landscape companies that put their business cards in your door. They are much less expensive and far more knowledgeable that this hack. I, like many others on this review page, purchased the $50 “tune up” that was a glorified estimate. There was no “tune up” that was done. If Aaron actually did a “tune up” he would have seen that there were issues with the front yard as well as the backyard irrigation. During the quoting process, I was promised pvc that would be around 9 inches under ground, water flow regulated drip manifolds, and 4 inch risers in my grass. After I had paid in full (never do this with this charlatan), I found that he had put non regulated drip manifolds into the pvc like we had discussed and like I had paid for. Additionally, he had put 2-inch risers in the grass and never told me until I brought it up to him. In these two instances, he had used inferior, and less expensive materials than I had paid for. He had not told me ahead of time in either of these two cases about the change in work. This is very shady. Lie #1. Lie #2 comes when I asked him about the front yard irrigation. He had disconnected it while doing the backyard work and claimed to have reconnected. He had stated that the front yard was never in the contract. I stated that disconnecting the front yard irrigation was not in the contract either. The front yard was not reconnected. To determine this I hooked up a hose to the end of the irrigation in the front yard to see where it was leaking near the irrigation box in the backyard. When he came to survey the situation, he still claimed that he hooked up the front yard and could not replicate the leak that I had found. I had to take time off work to come home and show him exactly the state of the system. Aaron is not very knowledgeable in irrigation if a guy with elementary skills with irrigation has to show a professional how to do his job. He then backpedaled and said that he needed additional equipment and pressure regulators to finish the job. If he had actually did what he said, he would have remember putting in the additional pressure regulator to go from the pvc to the original half inch poly line that was irrigating the front yard. During this time when Aaron was arguing with me about the front yard being part of the system I had to manually water my front yard for 2-3 months. Not very fast service. Regarding the depth of the new pvc, the contract said approximately 8 inches under ground. There was a section that ran alongside my pool that kept boxing out of the ground and Aaron fixed it 3 times, It is indicative of a section of pvc cut too long for the trench that was dug. Aaron kept saying that I need more rock and dirt to keep it down. There is no other spot in which the pvc is visible because the pvc is cut to the right length. Now, he refuses to fix what was supposed to be warranteed work. This was the worst $2000 and almost two years that I have spent. And all I have to show for it is still, a non-fully functional irrigation system. What was another kick in the pants is that I had to hire another company to fix Aaron’s shoddy work and get the front yard irrigation running again. I come to find out that in the process of the original install, the original quarter inch dripper lines were ripped out of the half-inch poly line throughout the backyard. These should have been capped. They were not. So here I am almost two years later with a half working irrigation system and still a high water bill because of all of the leaks. Please use this as a cautionary tale for your own irrigation needs. I have all of the documentation, emails, and contracts to support all of the statements within this review. I hope that this review helps steer people away from this subpar company. I have also formally filed a complaint with the better business bureau.
