OK, I wrote a glowing review for this company back in July 2011. We recently built an addition onto our house and needed two more solar screens to match the existing ones we already had. Now these windows are only 18' X 48". Richard was as responsive as last time. I am happy with the quality but seriously.....$480 for two small screens? I felt like I was taken advantage of. I did ask him what the price would be and he commented he wasn't sure but the guys will have the bill. In hindsight, I should have insisted on the price prior to delivery. Live and learn. I did ask the installers to tell Richard I was not happy with the pricing. My advice...get all the screens the first time and negotiate with him. He is more flexible during the intital sale.

Owner, Richard, came to provide estimate for the job. He was friendly and knowledgeable. Provided an install date of the 1st of August. Imagine my surprise when the crew arrived and did the install on July 26. A minor hiccup with the order. Three screens were not available. But the crew left their installation equipment, returned to the shop and were back in about an hour and a half with the remaining screens. Install crew were friendly, professional and did a good job. Price was higher than I thought these type of screens would be. Hopefully the claim of seeing lower cooling/heating bills will offset the cost of screens. I would recommend The Solar Screen Co to anyone wanting to install screens to help block the harsh AZ heat and sunlight coming in a window.

The owner of the company was very responsive to our needs and very punctual. He was extremely knowledgeable of the product since he had designed most of it. He presented us with an estimate on the spot and included a 10% senior discount. The installers arrived when promised and did a fantastic job of installing all the screens. They were very professional and courteous. If their product is applied to the entire house the company guarantees the following results: "15 degrees cooler in summer, 30 degrees warmer in winter". As soon as the screens were applied we noticed a big difference. The west facing room is now livable and the whole house feels more comfortable. My wife and I are very pleased with the results and highly recommend this company.
