Pete's Refrigeration

Description of Work: Pete's Refrigeration was used to repair the refrigerator located in the garage as a surprise gift to a friend. My friend's household totals 7, so repairing their extra fridge was a blessing. Pete showed up on time, assessed the problem, ordered the parts and came back the next day to complete the repair. Both times, he showed up shortly before our scheduled time. I had requested a quote of repair which I didn't receive, the parts were just ordered, fortunately the repair cost wasn't more than I was able to pay. The only problem was they didn't communicate or I guess didn't understand this was a surprise gift and I was the one paying not the homeowner. All-in-all, I was pleased with the service, they were on-time, the repair turn around time was quick and they seemed reasonable in pricing.

Description of Work: Fix dish washer. Install new garbage disposal unit.

Description of Work: Pete came and fixed my refrigerator / freezer.

Description of Work: I used Pete's Refrigeration. We called them out to give us a free estimate and it was for the dishwasher. He came out and our dishwasher is about 6 years old. It was blinking a green light and it said in the manual that it needed a new heating element in the troubleshooting instructions. He came out and went over and beyond what we expected him to do at first. He pulled the dishwasher out and he went through and took the actual heating element out of the dishwasher. He told us that it was definitely the heating element that needed to be replaced. He told us that he was going to go back to his office and go to the place that sells the appliance parts in Tucson to purchase the parts. He told us that he wouldn't be able to come out the following day but he said that he would be able to come out the day after and replace the part. He said he would call us back that evening what time he would be able to come back that day after. We told him that was fine. He said he would give us a price along with the time. He did not end up calling us back that evening. When he first came out, he shocked us because he went over and beyond. We were really impressed with him at first because he didn't have to pull out the dishwasher. We were just expecting him to come over and give us an estimate. He ended up not calling us the next day. We still didn't have a call the following day so I had to call his house and his wife answered the phone. I told her who I was and explained the situation. She apologized and said he would give us a call back and tell us what time he would come back. He ended up calling me back and saying he couldn't come back today because of other commitments. Unfortunately, that was putting us out because we had already gone this long without a dishwasher and we had to wash the dishes by hand. He promised us and he would call us back a couple days ago, and then on top of that, he told us that he would install the heating element the day he said he would come out. We arranged our schedules so he could come out and do this. He apologized and I understood that. He said he could come out another day. I appreciated that he came out, but I told him I had to go with someone else at that point.

Description of Work: Look at our refrigerator and told us what the problem was and we fixed it.

Description of Work: My dishwasher had stopped working, that is, the cycle ran but there was no water. The repairman came out, opened up the inards and got the water flowing again! Whoopee! No more hand washing everything!
