He worked hard to ensure that he and I had complete agreement and understanding of the scope of work to be performed, and then he performed the work quickly and professionally at a great price. I was so happy with his performance that I hired him to perform monthly periodic maintenance, which he has performed flawlessly and promptly every month since without any reminder calls from me. This is the best quality and value I have found in the business.
Description of Work: Juan did a complete cleanup of an overgrown yard and fixed the irrigation system by rerouting lines to keep the tree roots from choking off the line again.

+ -1 moreHe is not licensed and he was terrible. He was very expensive and overcharged us. He messed up the work a couple of times and tried to get more money from my girlfriend, to correct his work. He never finished any of his work on time. He did sub-par work. My girlfriend had just kept dishing money out to him.
Description of Work: Juan Zelis built an Arizona room an addition to the house and did some electrical work and did a little bit of masonry.

+ 1 moreJuan has done two and quot;majorand quot; jobs for me, although I lumped them together above. Everything went very well and I am pleased with all work done since I met Juan last summer or early fall. (2012)
Description of Work: Juan trimmed all my trees and shaped the bushes, did an excellent job of removing all leaves and debris from the gravel in my front and back yards, installed a new pump, purchased and planted some colorful plants around the rocks of my waterfall. He gave it just the right dashes of color to make it look beautiful for when my family from the east coast arrive before Christmas, and he also redid the electrical on my fountain, so I can plug the pump in myself and remove it if I need to. In addition, he set up the plumbing so I can now empty the pond with the flip of a valve! It's such a time (and back) saver..I love it.! Juan is professiona, courteous and honest.He will not steer you wrong or overcharge you for anything; his prices are very fair. As you can tell, I am quite impressed with Juan's work and his integrity. I will continue to use his services as long as he's available and I'm in the area! It's refreshing to find someone of Juan's caliber...I'd been looking, off & on, for a while. If you try him, you will not be disappointed! DJ Cox, Sahuarita, AZ

Description of Work: Juan is a one man operation (low overhead) who calls on an extended family for additional hands when required. He did a massive clean up of our property, some pruning and removal of a truckload of Oleader cuttings. He's a pleasant guy who does good work at a very reasonable price. I am also considering using him for brick wall work around my patio. He took me to several recent jobs; they all looked good; a couple we met at one house raved about his work.

+ 3 moreHe's great. He is just a regular guy and he doesn't have an office or anything. He is really wonderful. He is responsible. He does absolutely excellent work. He is very clean and very knowledgeable on all the desert plants. He also does masonry work. He does outdoor kitchens and walls and fountains. He is a fantastic guy.
Description of Work: I use Juan Zelis for lawn and yard work at least once a month.
