It went great! I asked for a time and that's when Fernando came. He is very friendly and definitely knows his stuff. While he worked and did the installation, we talked about things in general. He never broke his stride and the job was completed and cleanup done in less than 90 minutes. And he did an excellent job! I definitely recommend F & J 24 hour Garage Door Service. And the price was absolutely the best I could find, everywhere!

I have waited for a garage door opener for 13 yrs. When I saw the big deal in my e-mail, I had to check it out. I have a tough schedule to work around. They were there the next day. We agreed on a time, and he was there to the minute. The job was done professionally, and for the EXACT price agreed to. Fernando took the time to educate me. Both were a pleasure to work with, and I have my garage door (finally) for a price I could afford. THANK YOU

Double garage door would not open from interior opener. As noted, he arrived well after originally projected time although the weather was bad all day. On arrival and quick inspection he advised that springs and control seemed to be okay but that there was a cable too tight, and the weight was poorly adjusted, and there might be a motor problem although he doubted it. He said he'd adjust it and let me know whether more was required. It was not. He loosened cable, adjusted balance, changed force on motor, and greased the travel line. He also moved support bolts to the stud since two holding the track for the motor were not in the stud. All this in less than an hour, and as promised it is quieter. With it balanced I should be able to manually open it: it was too far off for that when I tried it. I recommend him. Especially for those one West Side that want to encourage locally owned businesses.

Fernando was great to work with, very professional, did quality work, didn't try to up-sell me for a bunch of things I didn't need. The garage door works better now than it ever has. I'd highly recommend F&J's Garage Door Service as a reputable and honest service provider

As promised, I received a call when the technician was within 15 minutes of my home. Fernando performed his services efficiently, professionally, and personably. I was very pleased with the whole experience, my garage door is working like brand new, and have already recommended the company to several of my coworkers and friends.

Very good service. Did what he said and more. Door was too heavy for the normal spring, so he brought a bigger one the next day. Highly recommend.

Our garage door is almost 10 years old, and needed some maintenance. Rather than waiting for the springs to brake, we chose to replace them along with the rollers. Fernando did a great job, and his wife Jessica made sure we were notified of scheduling and arrival times. They were both very courteous and professional. great work ethic, don't fix it if its not broke. Very knowledgeable regarding another problem we have with the door, rubs at the top. He perform a minor repair and if that doesn't work he estimated the cost of a repair that would work.

Great service! I called and within 30 minutes Fernando was at our home and assessed the problem (door would not open). He determined that the garage door spring needed tightening and the rollers needed lubricating and cleaning. This was accomplished in a short amount of time and the area was cleaned up and left in near-perfect order.

I only gave an "A" rating because Angie's List doesn't allow "A++". Fernando and Jessica were excellent to work with. I was locked out of a vaulted side garage when the release cable broke. Fernando talked me through all of the ways he could think of to get the door open. I was able to get the door open and removed the latch mechanisms. I hired F&J to install a new door opener and a vault release so this wouldn't happen again. Fernando explained the installation very well and did an excellent job. Jessica has superb customer service skills and always called me back quickly with any additional information I had asked for. I would definitely recommend F&J to anyone, and already have.

Installer arrived exactly on time and was finished with the entire installation in about an hour, including removal of the old garage door opener. Installer gave instructions on how to program and use opener and maintenance. I was very happy with everything and would definitely use this company again. Courteous and professional service.

It was a great experience having Fernando replace & repair the garage door. It works great now.

Called to get a bracket on the garage door replaced. It had snapped the previoous day and I could no longer open my garage door. This company answered the phone right away and was out to my house in 30 minutes. After looking at the issue, he told me what needed to be done to fix it. He also made recommendations for other maintenance that should be done. I agreed to all the work. He finished quickly and made sure to inspect my system. He discovered and fixed a safety concern with my opener as well. He went above and beyond. I didn't know how noisy my garage door was until he repaired it. Now my dogs don't even hear the garage open or close and it so much quiter in my house now.

This is my first Angie's List review and I am taking the time to write this because of how great my experience was was F&J's 24 Hour Garage Door Services! I called this morning when my garage door broke and would not open with the remote. I spoke with Jessica and she quickly got an appointment scheduled for me at a time that worked with my crazy schedule! Fernando showed up right when promised and was very nice and informative. I wanted to hang out and see what he was doing and he explained things to me since I was curious about what needed to be done. He fixed the door quickly and did a great job (I am not an expert but it now opens and closes with the remote and it doesn't make a weird noise anymore). Quick, friendly, affordable and quality work! I highly recommend them to anyone who has any garage door needs!
