Came out the same day I contacted them, and did a great job of replacing a defective garage door opener at a very reasonable price. Fernando is a great guy, and a pleasure to do business with.

Called and talked to Jessica. Set up a time for a day I would be off work and home with a 2 hour window. Fernando called ahead to say he would be there in about 20 mins. Arrived on time. Did the job. Made a few adjustments and took care of a small temporary fix on a cracked panel. No hard up sell tactics and just did what needed to be done. Great work, no hassle and a good value. I like to support small family businesses whenever I can and I search out those with integrity. F&J fit the bill. It's obvious that Fernando and Jessica take pride in running an honest business and providing quality service at a fair price. Highly Recommended! Thanks F&J!

Our emergency call was answered right away. Fernando came out the same day. He was friendly, courteous, efficient and informative. In less than an hour the door was repaired and the charges were very reasonable. We would highly recommend this company.

These guys were FANTASTIC! They showed up on time, Fernando explained everything to me. Both guys completed the job in a timely manner and didn't leave any mess. They were friendly and answered all of my questions. They made sure my openers were working before they left. They did not try to sell me anything extra and were honest about the condition of the garage door motor, springs, etc. which they said were all in good working order. I would most definitely recommend F & Js 24 Hour Garage Door Service to anyone and I will be calling F & J's should I ever need further assistance or repairs with my garage door. Excellent service!

I am sold on this company. Not only were they in my neighborhood but they offered 24 hours service. I called at 5:00 am and even though Jessica told me they had a very busy day, she promised they would stop by and at least diagnose the problem. When they came out, not only did the diagnose, but they were able to fix the problem right then, give the entire system a tune up and it works better than ever. I've already told my neighbors about them and will definitely put them on my annual 'to do' list.

They were amazing. They didn't over charge for the after hours service call and fixed the door in a timely and efficient manner. The technician that came out was professional and helpful.

Fernando arrived punctually to assess a broken garage door opener. While he was there I asked him to look at a second garage door opener whose light was not functioning. He repaired the light with no charge and gave me a quote to replace the broken one. We made an appointment for the following week. He and his assistant replaced the unit and also programmed a car's remote to open the garage door. Both times they came out I received a phone call to let me know when they would be arriving. The reason I gave him a B on price is that honestly I did not do comparison shopping on the cost of the unit and the work.

Fernando and Trey were very nice and punctual. He explained very thoroughly in person and on paper (for our records) what was wrong, what needed to be replaced/fixed, and what to look for in the future. He gave us a 30 day warranty on the work performed. If we end up experiencing the same problems with our motor he will return to replace it, with this visit's fee going towards the replacement.

It was great! he did everything from the deal that we purchased and then fixed a few other things. The new bottom seal cost us another $189.28 after he offered to give us a $25 veterans discount. When he left everything to do with the garage door was like new. Before he left he told us to call if we had any issues or problems.

The garage door had a single spring that broke and I had them replace with double springs. They showed up on time and had the work done in short order.

Everything was excellent! Jessica was fabulous on the phone setting up the appointment and taking my information. She was friendly, courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. She was actually one of the best schedulers I have ever dealt with for any type of work on our home. Fernando and his son were very prompt, friendly, courteous, professional, expedient, and thorough. He replaced our spring and went over everything else to make sure nothing else was wrong. He did not find any other issue. You never know with some companies as I had read some bad reviews about other companies finding things that don't need to be replaced. He lubed the rollers and some other part on the door and showed me what to do if the dust protector in the door slides out. He asked if I had any questions, which was appreciated. You could tell he wanted to make sure I was truly happy with the work he performed. He even showed me what and where to lube and how often. He was recommended to me by a friend and I am very glad she did. I will definitely recommend him to others needing garage door service. Thank you Fernando and Jessica!!

I placed my order through Angie's list Deals and was given a day and time window via e-mail. I called Jessica the afternoon it was scheduled and she said yes it was still on. Then she called back to give me a better idea on Fernando's arrival time. He was prompt and knew his garage doors. Very personable and got the job done quickly. Gave us tips on maintenance :)

Outstanding!! Door was not closing. Although I wasn't expecting such fast response, company was able to respond same day I called. Technician was very knowledgeable. He diagnosed and fixed the problem very quickly. Door now operating perfectly. What more can I say - fast and perfect service!

We couldn't be happier with our service so far. Fernando from F&J showed up within hours of us calling them with the issue, and had it replaced very quickly. The work appears to have been performed correctly and competently, and there was no mess left behind. We would call them again if we have further garage door related needs!

You know that feeling when you are all loaded into the van with four kids and you are trying to put the garage door down and it just won't go .. that was our Sunday morning. It really wasn't an emergency but in our house that is how kids get in and out before and after school. So I called to F&J. Jessica answered right away and took my information and offered to come in an hour. Jessica and Fernando came on time and discussed our options. They were kind enough to extend a recently completed offer to us as Angie's List members. We agreed and the work was completed to our specifications. Now I will also tell you that I have four children. One of them was in the midst of completing a school project on simple machines. Fernando offered her anything on his truck that she could use for the project and help her think of some creative ways to use the materials! Now that my friends is going above and beyond to be a kind person! Thank you we appreciate the work and kindness! The garage works great.

Wife returned home from work about 5:30 pm Monday and after she entered the garage, there was a huge crash as the garage door came loose from the opener and crashed down behind the car. I lifted up the garage door and she drove the car back out as we did not know how long it would take to get service on it. I wanted a local garage door repair service and F&Js offered 24 hour service and were right next door in Goodyear. They also had an A rating on Angie's list and one of the reviews talked about how well they handled a problem similar to ours. I called the number and Jessica answered promptly. I told her that I knew it was late and I could wait till tomorrow, but she checked with her husband, Fernando, and he said he would come out right away that evening. Fernando arrived 25 minutes later and told us that he could replace the springs and reattach our Automatic Arm for a total price of $265. He also serviced both that garage door and our other single garage door for no additional charge. I asked that since the springs of both garage doors were originals (almost 20 years old) should he also replace the other door's spring? Fernando said it hadn't broken yet, so he did not want to sell me something that wasn't needed right now. All the work was done quickly and professionally and both our garage doors run very quietly now. F&Js is a small family business that appears to take great pride in doing quality work. My wife and I both appreciated their quick response to our need for their service. If anyone lives in the West Valley and has need for garage door service, F&Js does a great job!

F&J were exceptional in all regards: great communication, fantastic customer service, fair pricing with no up-selling, and expert workmanship. All backed by a parts AND labor warranty. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I don't see how it could have been better. Fernando is respectful, courteous, competent, and thorough. Fernando's wife, who set up the job over the telephone is sharp and clear and a good communicator. She knows garage doors and is very helpful. Hey, I could go on and on. But all I need to say here is that F & J's garage door service is absolutely excellent and I highly recommend them based on the work they did for me.

Bam! At 9pm on a Friday night we discovered that the spring on our garage door had sprung! A few minutes later, we had talked to F&J and had an appointment for the next morning. Fantastic. The work was very well, on time and for the agreed price. I would use this company again.

It was basically flawless. Jessica answered the phone and was very polite. We set up an appointment for a couple of hours later as it was an emergent door fix that was needed. She told me her husband Fernando would call within an hour of the appoinment, He called stating he was running early and he could come by earlier than the appointment. Fernando was very quick and efficient. Had my doors adjusted and springs replaced within an hour. Even spent some time discussing with me the best garage door openers for my other failing opener. I like doing business local and these folks are literally, 4 minutes down the road. Thanks for the great response time and service.
