Al came over for the initial estimate and Emmanuel came over to due the work the next day. Both very friendly and answered all my questions. Repair was done quickly. Very professional, I will recommend Al's Plumbing every time.

I contacted the owner (Al) on Wednesday and one of his employees (Sam) came to my house Friday morning. I had already had an estimate from a non-Angie's List vendor and was unhappy with the amount and vague description of what work needed to be done, especially since he walked with me to the swampy, leaky spot I had and announced an amount without turning anything on, listening to my concerns or looking around the yard. Sam spent 45 minutes, having me point out a couple areas needing attention and then operating the irrigation system before discussing a couple of options with me. Sam was professional, personable and a good communicator. He scheduled the job for Tuesday and Wednesday the following week and arrived at the scheduled time with Anthony, who turned out to be another hard-working, pleasant young man. (Eventually I met Al, the owner and another guy, who helped with the back yard. Two more REALLY nice guys!) The back yard took longer than they planned, which didn't surprise me. It was a challenging location. But Sam came by this morning (4/11/14) and finished the job. He gave me an update on setting my irrigation timing (I really needed it), an invoice that was for the amount I expected and a one-year warranty! AND the yard looks great! They worked around all my plants and tidied the whole thing up so you wouldn't even know they were there (except there aren't any fountains or puddles anymore -- yay!). I cannot emphasize enough how professional and pleasant every one of these guys were. I was dreading this project but I'm so happy with the result, and the price was very reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend them and would definitely use them again.

Completely professional. Scheduled the appointment this am, arrived on time. He removed and replaced and existing toilet. Workmanship was outstanding, and had virtually no mess to clean up. Removed all traces of the old toilet, grouted the new one..

I called early morning and the owner, Al, asked a few questions and advised he could have someone come to my home between 10 and 12 am. A short while later he called back and said it worked better for another client to have someone come after 12 and asked if his employee could come within the hour. My house water was turned off so I was happy with the suggestion and agreed. Sam came within the time frame and was an absolute delight. What a lovely young man! He listened to what had been happening and surveyed the entire situation. He replaced the faucet and as discussed above checked out the balance of the system. When I decided to do the additional repairs, he went for the parts, returned and completed the work. He did everything right the first time, was very professional and knowledgable. I am so glad I called this company. They were all very nice and did the utmost to accomodate my need. I will call them again and I truly recommend them. They also honor the discounts appearing on the website. Great company, great people. I am thrilled.

Following an usually heavy rain in our area, we discovered interior flooding. We called Al's plumbing and Al came to our residence within a couple of hours. He checked the outside water meter before approaching our door and promptly ruled out the water lines as being the source of the incoming water which provided us with some immediate good news. He proceeded to inspected the area of the interior flooding and determined that a cracked concrete slab at our front door was slightly slanted towards our house. Therefore, any accumulated rain water at the front door area had a means to seep in. Al recommended the repair of the concrete and recommended a gutter to redirect water that came off of the roof away from the front door area. Al installed a gutter for us that blended in with the exterior portion of our house. It recently rained heavily in our area again and the gutter worked perfectly.

Replace kitchen faucet, replace garbage disposal, replace 5 stage reverse osmosis system filter set with membrane. Technician was very professional and courteous and took the time to explain the repairs and how everything worked. I would definitely call them again. Excellent experience.

I called for service early afternoon and someone came to the house about 1-1/2 hours later. He looked at the stopper and explained that it needed replacement. He quoted me a price before doing any service on it. The price was acceptable and I told him to go ahead and replace the stopper. The job was completed quickly and he cleaned up after himself. When he first came to the house he rang the doorbell and realized that it did not work. Before leaving he explained that the doorbell probably just needed a new battery. He proceeded to take the doorbell down and show where the new battery needed to be placed. He was very friendly. I would definitely recommend Al's Plumbing to anyone needing service.

I received an outrageous water bill and knew it had to be a leak but couldn?t locate it. I called Al?s Plumbing on a Friday afternoon and the office manager, Stella, was polite and professional. After I explained what I needed, she told me she would put me at the top of the list so that I wouldn?t have to go the whole weekend worrying about the leak. She told me she would get a technician to call me to schedule a time to come by and within a half hour, I received a call from the technician, Sam, and he scheduled to come by that same afternoon at 4pm. He was on time, courteous and professional. Sam did an excellent job troubleshooting and explained what he was doing every step of the way. As a first time home owner, I really appreciated this since I knew nothing about plumbing. After a thorough inspection of my home, it turns out I had two leaks! I felt that the quote he gave me was very fair. I expected to pay hundreds of dollars, but the quote he gave me was $175. I told him to go ahead with the repair. He turned off the valves to the leaks so that I wouldn't worry about it over the weekend and said he would be back first thing Monday morning with the parts to repair the leaks. This made me feel that I could trust him and I was comfortable enough to ask him for a quote for replacing my 13 year old water heater that had a leak earlier this year. He gave me a fair quote so I asked him to go ahead with that job as well. Not only was he able to replace my water heater for a fair price, but he also repaired the ripped up walls surrounding the water heater. The work that he and his assistant did was so clean and professional. I was beyond happy. And because I decided to go ahead with the water heater replacement, he repaired the original first two leaks for free! The total for a new water heater (including Gas Flex lines, supply lines and pan), drywall repair and water heater base replacement came out to a total of $1,219! I feel that is a very fair price. Needless to say, Al?s plumbing will be my regular plumbers from now on and I will be more than happy to recommend them to others.

Had leak obvious in Master bathroom which has 2 sinks. Looked on Angie's for a plumber near me. Called Al's and he answered promptly. He said he would be there same day at 5 PM. He arrived on time and did inspection on all the sinks. Found all 3 of my sinks had leaks, corrosion and worn out plumbing. Gave estimate and proceeded with work promising to stay until all work was completed. He replaced all the plumbing under the 3 sinks, explaining in detail with each as he worked. I liked that. Stayed until 9 PM until he was finished and leak checked all 3 sinks. He not only did excellent job but guaranteed his work. Don't find many plumbers who come late and stay late to finish the work. Would recommend Al's plumbing to everyone.

Al responded on short notice. Completed the job and cleaned up. Also provided an estimate of future work I want to have done. Was pleasant and did a great job. Will hire him again.

Al provided excellent service. He immediately returned call and scheduled appointment for same day. He called to confirm appointment and showed up on time. Al reviewed the situation and quickly determined source of leak. A plumber visited the house prior to Al and during his 60 minutes was unable to determine source of leak. Al cut through dry wall and fixed leak. Meticulous in cleaning up all the water and provided next steps to correct resulting water damage. We will never use another plumber. Thanks Al for a great job.

Al showed up within an hour of the call. He had all the materials and spent about 2 hours expertly repairing the problem. Fast work, professionally done, with great customer interaction. He charged $49 for the service call and $99.50/hr for two hours labor = $361.50 including tax, and a $25 discount for Angie's list. I thought the price was steep...that is my only concern...I did not have time to get a price quote until he arrived (Saturday, late afternoon occurrence ...), so I had to accept his price since he was prompt to show so quickly....the work was excellent, so really I would suggest getting a price quote over the phone before selecting your service provider.

I would highly recmmend this company. Al was very professional, punctual work completed on time and price was under quote. Also Al kepted me informedon all that was done on the drain with photos, being that my rental is in Arizona and I live in MI.

Al arrived on time. He is a very neat worker and respects your property--he did not place tools on my new granite counters,etc. He was very careful and cleaned up any mess made. He is very pleasat and personablel. He worked quickly and efficently and was eager to please the customer. The job went smoothly and I am perfectly satisfied with the results. I plan to have him back when I have money to redo the master bath. I highly recommend him for your plumbing needs.

It went pretty well overall. Al and his assistant were on time and worked rapidly. They cleaned up what mess they caused. The only problem was the shower faucet performance, but they corrected it the next day after one phone call.

I liked that he was prompt, he cleans up, friendly, cared about his customers, personable, and very neat. He made a great impression with me. He has a great work ethic. This is a family business.
