Al's Plumbing LLC

Al was extremely friendly and professional! We called him on Tuesday and he was at our house on Wednesday unclogging our kitchen sink. He was very cautious with our house, even taking the time to place towels under his tools to protect our kitchen floor. We will call Al with any and all future plumbing issues.

I had discovered leaks in lawn/shrub watering system, scheduled non-emergency appointment for several days later. While waiting for repair day, my gas water heater failed, so I added that to the open ticket. I was not aware the water heater was still under warranty. Technician arrived right on time at 9:00, within 30 minutes had found leaks watering system, investigated warranty status of water heater, negotiated warranty settlement wherein I received a new unit with new warranty for a $100 processing fee. Total cost shown above include all charges for parts, spill pan I did not have before and all labor for two technicians. New unit was approved and ordered all within 45 minutes of arrival and the lawn systems were repaired while waiting for the new water heater to be delivered. Al Molinar, owner, brought the new unit, oversaw completion of the installation. Technician coached me on future maintenance (flushing) of new water heater. Job complete, everyone gone and I was taking hot shower by 1:30, happy as a clam.

Al and his employees were very professional and completed the job as promised. They were very accommodating and did extremely high quality work! I will definitely hire them again and recommend them to anyone.

This repair was at my boss's house. Had a HORRIBLE time finding anyone who would repair an irrigation system (most only were interested in installation). After calling several companies and being told their available dates were 2 to 3 weeks out, Al managed to fit his repair in the next day. My boss is happy -- so everyone's happy!

Our toilet in one of our bathrooms was leaking. I called Al's Plumbing based on the good reviews I had read on Angie's List. The next day two plumbers arrived on time. They diagnosed the problem quickly as there was a crack in the tank. I was concerned that i would have to order a new toilet as the broken one was a custom one piece Kohler. Al's men offered to go to a plumbing supply to find a replacement that would fill the need. They did so immediately and called me with the price. At that time I mentioned that the flushing lever was not a standard chrome and he told me that he would purchase a new lever in the correct finish. Shortly after they returned and replaced the toilet. The replacement was seamless with the new one fitting precisely. I would recommend this company because unlike other times when I needed to replace a plumbing fixture, I have had to go track a replacement down, purchase it, arrange delivery, and make a subsequent appointment for installation. These people accomplished all of that within a couple of hours. They were very professional, courteous, and did fine work. I will be using Al's Plumbing again.

Awesome experience with Al's plumbing. They were able to fit me in last minute, showed up on time and were friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely be using them in the future!

Replaced nozzle for easier servicing in the future. Inspected other plumbing supplies at my request and provided suggestions for future service or maintenance. I was left with the impression that I had received honest, fair, and quality service. The plumber was on time, friendly, and answered all of my questions to my satisfaction.

Installed new quarter turn shutoff valves, new garbage disposal, connected the kitchen faucet and drains including the dishwasher. Even went out and got us a nickel drain ring so everything would match. Secured the hoses and lines so everything was nice and neat under the sink.

Al was very punctual, friendly, and knew what he was doing. He offered to replaced our faucet with the same Delta faucet but it would mean a trip to Lowes. Actually I preferred a two handle, hot/cold faucet and he had one available. In no time we were back to running water efficiently and with no leaks! I would definitely call Al again for plumbing repairs and emergencies! I love doing business with people in my own town!

I have used Al's Plumbing a couple times. Last year they replaced my irrigation system in both front and back yards. They did a WONDERFUL job for what I thought was a reasonable price. At the time, they brought up the fact that my valves were getting old and some weren't functioning well. I had them replace the worst valves at that time. So when the rest of the valves gave up the ghost, I called them and they fixed those right away. They are really good at getting back to me when I call, they arrive on time and clean up any mess. AND they are the nicest guys! Professional, polite and easy to communicate with.

The BEST company to fix (rooter) a slow running sink that would back up after running the water for 4 minutes. After trying all possible remedies, we knew we needed a professional to snake our pipes who was Licensed (perfect record with AZ Registrar of Contractors), bonded, insured, and a A+ record with BBB--and of course "A" rated Angie's List. From our research, Al's Plumbing was the only company with all those credentials. This company is very courteous, skilled, and has all the right equipment. They knew exactly what they were doing and had to go 55 feet to break up lots of egg shells that had severely restricted the flow of water. Sam was impeccable in customer service, skill, and clean-up. He additionally redid the poor plumbing workmanship on our 3 year-old Toll Brother House (Starrick Plumbing) Master Bath shower valve that stopped mixing hot and cold water. We really appreciate Al's Plumbing as we have had some serious medical issues to deal with and needed peace of mind on our plumbing!!!

His service was wonderful. From the moment he looked at it he had an immediate answer. Al set our minds at ease with the assurance that this was a very simple fix. We were afraid we had a busted pipe and thought we were in for serious trouble. It turns out there was an issue with the bathtub overflows. He looked at and fixed the other tubs in our house as well. He let my husband follow him and explained the issue and showed him what to look for so this won't happen again! we will definitely use his service again in the future!!

A little late arriving is only negative I can say. Nice guy. Did good job at I think a fairly reasonable price.

Al, the owner arrived on time and completed the job within an hour for us. Work involved removing and replacing the hot and cold, shut-off valve in the Laundry Room. He had to remove the dry wall to access the pipes. He repaired the wall as well. He was professional, knowledgeable and gave us valuable tips on how to avoid the same problem in future. We highly recommend him.

5/29/15 This is a pleasant update. We discovered that our toilet still had a problem and would hear water running intermittently. I called Al and he was eager to resolve the problem. He came out the next day and replaced a defective part. It seems to be working fine now. I have to say I'm impressed with the follow-through service and Al's prompt attention to resolve our problem. There was no charge for the second visit. Al said it was just part of the warranty service and his efforts to maintain a stellar reputation. Thanks Al. 5/19/15 I called and spoke to Al yesterday. Explained we had a toilet that was running and couldn't figure out how to fix it. I asked the cost to fix something like that. He said they needed to assess the problem first and couldn't provide a cost up front. So, I asked for someone to come out and let me know how much to repair would be. I'm not at the house but my son-in-law is, so I asked Al to call him and schedule the appointment. They tried to respond the same day but it ended up with the appointment set for the following morning between 8 and 9 AM. The service guy arrived and explained to my son-in-law that the guts needed to be replaced as the builder put in toilets with cheap off-brand guts. He did the work and then called me when complete. He called and explained the bill was $172 and change. I said I thought that was way high and asked how much was parts and how much was labor. That's when he explained they charge buy the job and it's $129 to replace the toilet innards and another $39 for the service call. He asked where I got their name and I explained it was Angie's list. He reduced the price to $143 and I paid with a credit card. I'm not angry, just disappointed for 3 reasons. First, the end cost ($143) still seems really high for a 20 minute job and toilet parts. Second, I wish Al had told me up front they charge by the job and I would have asked for some examples to get an idea of what this job was likely to cost. I'm not sure if I would have continued with Al but I don't think I'd feel gauged if he had told me upfront. Third, no one called me before the work was completed with the estimate so I could approve the work or negotiate pricing up front. Al seemed like a really nice guy but he sent someone else out to do the job. So, I wouldn't use this company again based on the 3 reasons I provided and my experience. Not angry, perhaps I didn't ask the right questions initially. So, just disappointed and wouldn't recommend this company to any one else..

Two personable young men arrived on time. Addressed the issues I had called about but also checked the house for plumbing issues. Were able to locate a significant leak in the irrigation system (wonder how that impacted the water bill?) which was then fixed for us. I asked about garbage disposals for a future visit but they actually had the 3/4 hp disposal I wanted and it was in their van. They removed the old one, a builder standard, cheap, wimpy one and installed the Contractor 333. They also offered to carry my gas dryer to the garage to make way for a new dryer I purchased today...not plumbing, but very nice and above and beyond the call of duty. When they learned I just moved to the area they were able to tell me where I could find a Farmers Market. They also shared some neat things to do this weekend. Al called first thing in the am to verify the time of service and the jobs I requested. It was just a good experience and this is my new go-to company for plumbing. Oh. They left everything clean and neat, too!

Al came out on Super Bowl Sunday of all ALL days to help us in a pinch. Great service. We will be recommending him to others.

Al did a very good job. He was responsive (did the work the day I contacted him), professional, and demonstrated very good customer services skills. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

Service was fantastic. Al is super responsive to both phone calls and text. His business is family based and focused on service. Al cares about doing the job correctly and timely vice just quickly. Al and his employees were very attentive to my request and input.

Not only answered his phone on a Sunday, he came out on a Sunday. He was professional, friendly and trustworthy. Will use from now on when I need plumbing services!

It went amazing. They came next day (day before thanksgiving) and did a great job. Very honest and did not charge me for two sinks since they're both combined in a his/hers. He even caught that the drain plug was broken and replaced it for only $5. Very nice guy. Initially told me it would probably be $225 for all three drains and it ended up only being $139. They came out quick and finished the job quick. Great guys! Will call again!

They did a fantastic job communicating, getting the job done well, and left everything clean and tidy. Al was super nice and helpful in finding other service providers we needed for fixing a crack in the fiberglass of the shower and for fixing the drywall that was cutout to complete the plumbing service. So happy with Al and his company!

I dealt with Al directly which is always nice to have the owner to talk with and do the work. He set up a time with my renters to inspect the home and figure out the problem. He said garbage disposal in kitchen was cause of the kitchen odor and needed to be replaced as it was rotting out. He offered 2 options and gave advantages and disadvantages of both with is always nice, no pressure. Al installed the disposal and said the other odor was coming from the washing machine. He recommended replacement but he did not do appliances which was fine because it is something I can handle anyway. He had the problems diagnosed and fixed within a few hours. Al kept in communication with me the whole time before, during, and after the appointment. He was very professional and I would certainly use his services again to work in my home.
