Excellent work. The tech was on time, pr very professional, courteous, very knowledgeable, and a listened to all of my instructions. I will continue using their services for more than just Handyman.

Excellent service - I needed the concrete pillar attached to my gate latch removed so that my new gate could be installed. The new gate company contacted me only the day before install. Since you can't leave your back gate wide open over night I tried to demo myself the next morning but the pillar was too solid to demo with a sledgehammer. I was panicked needing to find a company who could come out ASAP in the morning before the installers. Several good reviews on Nextdoor for Skill Set so I called and left a message and they immediately called back and they were out in an hour. Great communication by text and Robert was very nice and did an excellent job with the demo. Great price too that I paid via Venmo. Highly recommended and I would definitely call them again for handyman services - though I hope it's not an ASAP situation again! My heroes - thank you so much! :)

Hired Skillset Inc to repair an exterior wall that needed a stucco patch. They showed up when they said they would and completed the job in a timely manner plus cleaned up after themselves. Would definitely hire again!

Robert Garcia of Skillset is a terrible contractor and a shady person. He scammed me for $46,000 so far. I gave him 70% down in August, they didn't actually start anything until February, asked for $18,000 more the day before they actually started in February, and have screwed up the project. They sometimes don't show up for weeks at a time. Robert constantly lies. I have had to file a formal complaint with the ROC. I mean every word that comes out of his mouth sound good but is nothing but lies and false promises. This should have been a very simple home addition for any professional but Robert has messed it up and won't fix or finish anything. Run away as fast as possible!

Working with Robert and Lisa was wonderful throughout the Ramada project. They communicated well and kept us up-to-date as we needed to unlock our gate and always have our dog inside. From the very beginning, ROBERT understood what I wanted which was to create so the little Ramada would look like part of our craftsman home. Now we have a “baby craftsman” in our yard and it is a wonderful destination! He even hung up our string lights so at night it looks like we’re having a party. It is magnificent and we will be enjoying it for years to come.

We absolutely loved our experience with Skillset. We had to reroute our dryer exhaust and repair the door to our utility room. Skillset was prompt and thorough with both jobs. The team was quick and efficient, and extremely friendly. The work is great and up to code which is important for us in our older home that we’re slowly fixing!
