PHIL'S HOME MAINTENANCE

I have used Phil's for ten years, for repairs and maintenance for my residential rentals and my second home. I have come to rely on and trust them to take care of any and all problems that come up with any of our properties. Because I live remotely from these properties, I have to be able to trust them to respond quickly and resolve whatever is needed effectively. They have never disappointed me, ever, in something over 100 calls. The team is skilled and knowledgeable. Their pricing is reasonable and competitive. They are the perfect partner for us.

Superb workmanship! Fixed promptly at a reasonable price. Our family has been Phil's customers since 1994. They've kept our home functioning by performing every kind of home service imaginable. Examples are heat/ac repair/replacement, tiling (beautiful work!), plumbing, electrical and termite inspection on the inside/outside and gazebo/railroad tie repair, and house/fence paining on the outside. This crew can do it all. A very important point to me is punctuality. These guys show up when they say they will and even call you a few minutes in advance to let me know when they'll be there. Outstanding company!

Phils team is amazing!!! I have had them do everything from a full remodel of my guest bathroom to and emergency Saturday toilet install. They all ways show up on time. Their office staff is very responsive and they show up on time. They come prepared with what they need to get the job done.

We were referred to Phil's Home Maintenance about 12 years ago. We have used them on various projects for our primary home and investment property. Anytime we need a project completed in a timely fashion, knowing quality work will always be done, we automatically call Phil's. Brenda and Steve run a top notch operation! They once replaced our hot water heater. Was leaving for a California trip and I noticed it was leaking. Immediately called Brenda. Gave her garage code and a new one was installed by the time we arrived in California with pictures to verify!

Went with Phil's after the estimate we were given. They sent a crew out, showed up on time with all materials needed. The team was very pleasant and did a great job. They made sure to clean up everyday before they left. Love our new patio.

Phil's Home Improvement came highly recommended by my tile guy. I called them three times in Feb 2019. First time, left VM. 2nd: talked to someone who said they were moving & she'd have someone call me. (never did). 3rd time: laft VM. Then I July 2019, thought I'd give them another try. We just bought a home and were needing things done at both new & old home. Called & talked to Brenda abt the project. The next week, I emailed her the details & asked for a reply... none came. A week later, called & talked to Brenda again & she said the person who would know the answer was out of the office but she'd find out. Two weeks later... no reply. I will never contact them again, nor will I ever recommend them.

Nick showed up on schedule and did not waste any time getting started. He was very polite and personable. I would not hesitate to have him back out for other jobs. I was extremely satisfied with his work.

Wow. What a shabby performance. I called and asked for an estimate. It was five days before I could have someone out to look at the job. The gentleman that came over and did the inspection was very nice and punctual. That's where the service ends. I did ask him to provide a ballpark guess on what it was going to run. I understand that I probably put him on the spot, but he went through everything to himself and told me that there was not more than $2000 worth of work. That seemed reasonable so I waited for his written quote that he told me he would have the next day. Friday afterwards - no quote. I called. Their phone tree is a joke. The option that you have to press is 2, but it says "for service" which is very confusing. No option to just push 0 and speak to someone. I spoke with a lady who said she would check on the status of the bid. They said that it would be finished either that day or on Monday. Begrudgingly, I accepted that response. Tuesday of the following week. No phone call. No email. I call again. They say that it is on its way. I open the email. $4100. Double what the gentleman said. This has delayed me from getting my house ready for sale. It is completely unreasonable to set an expectation and then give a ridiculous quote after making someone wait for a week. Awful.

They did a really good job. They were very prompt and the guy was very polite, professional and whatever mess he made, he cleaned up. I didn't have to do anything. I was satisfied because all he did was put a board in my window because it was broken. I was glad he didn't damage the frame. They called a man on his day off and he came to fix my window on his day off. They went above and beyond.

First of all they didn't charge me anything for the consultation because they couldn't fix the problem themselves. Secondly, within ten minutes he had figured out the problem. It was almost a disaster but they came out and figured out what was wrong. I have been using them for about 5 years and they have always been great with me. Their customer service is top notch and their work is as well. I would recommend them in the highest regard. They are a great company.

The experience was positive. They were very professional. They did a nice job. They were on time. They have been around for a long time. Sometimes their price is higher, and sometimes it will be lower.

THEY WERE VERY GOOD ABOUT LETTING US SUPPLY THE MATERIALS. IN THIS WAY, WE SAVED MONEY AND WERE ASSURED OF GETTING THE COLOR AND QUALITY OF CARPETING WE WANTED. THEY DID ARRIVE ON THE DAY THEY SAID, BUT 35 MINUTES LATE (NOT TOO BAD). THE RUBBER TRIM BORDER AROUND THE CARPETING HAS BEEN STARTING TO LIFT ALREADY; AFTER ONLY 4 MONTHS. WHEN THEY PRESENTED US WITH THE BILL AT THE END, THEY TRIED TO COLLECT $200 WHEN THE JOB WAS QUOTED AT $190. THEY DID, HOWEVER, ACCEPT THE $190 AS PAID IN FULL. JUST A FAIR EXPERIENCE OVERALL.

WE HAD CALLED ALL OVER INCLUDING APPLIANCE REPAIR PEOPLE TO NO AVAIL. WE CALLED PHIL'S AND SOMEONE ANSWERED RIGHT AWAY AND SENT SOMEONE OUT HE DIAGNOSED AND FIXED THE PROBLEM IN NO TIME AT ALL.
