Gaby came and I had already decided to have the floor refinished before speaking with him. He was on time for the appointment and looked at my floor. After looking, he recommend doing nothing at this time. I appreciated his honesty and will certainly use him in the future.

The team showed up every morning on time; did the promised work and left. We were pleased with the work and advise provided. They did their best to keep the sawdust down throughout the house and clean up was much easier than previously.Our floors were installed when we built our house 28 plus years ago. We have had many, many Golden Retrievers and little people through the house over the years and have always been please with the durability of hardwood. Gaby's crew did a great job. We are planning on having them replace our worn carpet with hardwood in the near future. Prices are in keeping with industry prices in the area. We would recommend highly.

They gave us a schedule and they brought in extra people and beat the deadline that they had estimated. They showed up on time and were great to work with. This is a very loud and dirty project. They covered all the cabinets and appliances with plastic and taped off as much as possible to keep the dust down. They removed and replaced the appliances and furniture as we requested. Gaby professionally tested the moisture level in our concrete floor and when he discovered that it was high he handled the situation professionally and without incident. He did purchase a high quality product and completed the process professionally and did not try to cut the corners. He is a very impressive, hardworking and honorable man. His whole team works incredibly hard and long hours. They all were great to work with and I would highly recommend them.

I did not hire this provider. He said he would be at my house at 8:30 am and when I called him at 9:15 he told me I had the time wrong and it was scheduled for 9:30 (which I would not have done since I has another appointment booked at 9:30)! He went to the wrong house! I was told I would have his estimate emailed to me by 4 that same afternoon and received it at 4:30 the following day. This was only after I called him to ask for the quote. Although his bid was the least expensive, I did not have a good feeling that the job would be done in a timely, professional manner. We ended up using another company who was a bit higher in price but worth every penny...and no headaches!

I had a fabulous experience with Gaby from Master of Wood Floors. I was in the process of evicting tenants from a rental property and did not know when I would have full access to my rental home, so I called Gaby to get an idea of when he could give me an estimate and how much notice he would need to schedule an appointment for an estimate. He said he was quite flexible, usually later in the day was better. So when the time came when I had access to my rental house, a few weeks later, I called him on a friday and he literally met me a few hours later at my rental house. We walked the entire home, he advised me that my wood floors in the kitchen were not in good enough shape to refinish and I asked him if he thought it would be better to replace with wood or tile, and he said tile, (I thought that was incredibly honest as he could have sold me new wood for the kitchen). He also said the rest of the house he could refinish (the hallways, formal dining area, family room, etc. He quoted me $2030 which was a very fair price and I paid exactly what he quoted. He was such a nice guy, I literally had him waiting for my locksmith to finish rekeying the house so I could have his crew do the job during the weekend. He waited about 45 minutes for my locksmith to finish and in the meantime helped me place all the screen shades back on my house. The very next day his crew started the job, sanding the wood floors and then proceeded on Sunday finishing up with staining and putting the high gloss on the floors. When I saw the wood floors for the first time , I was so amazed. He literally said he wasn't 100% sure that all the areas would look great (during our first meeting) , because I had some really damaged areas with deep grooves and discoloration and the floors were really in bad shape. I couldn't be happier. They look like brand new floors. I love it when a vendor under promises and over delivers and that is exactly what I got from Gaby and Master of Wood Floors. They were completely done with the entire job by Sunday evening (mind you, I called them on a Friday evening)...and on Monday we were able to walk on the floors... They were a blessing, very professional and kind to boot! I would highly recommend them. I previously hired handymen 3 years prior to refinish these same floorsand they weren't professionals and I will NEVER do that again. When it comes to something like Wood floors, it pays to hire someone with expertise. I highly recommend them!!

Gaby was a life saver! We were in the middle of a remodel and had issues with are contractor. Gaby showed up the same day I called, made some recommendations and gave me an estimate. His estimate was less than the original and he performed more work. His crew came out within a few days and finished on time. We're extremely happy with work performed!

The quality of the finished product was excellent and the price was reasonable. My primary concern is that the staff seemed a little heavy-handed with their equipment (e.g., banging into the woodwork) and somewhat reckless when applying the finish (e.g., splashing polyurethane onto freshly painted walls). I'd contract with this company again, but I'd be more explicit about my expectations.

They arrive at 8:00 and worked until 4 pm. They cleaned everything before leaving.

Provided great transitions where wood met tiled surfaces at bathrooms and kitchen doorways. Also did great job for transition for sunken living room. Contractor provided gluedown materials. Project took about 4.5 days. Workman were extremely neat and did clean-up at the end of each day. Answered any questions I had and explained the process completely. Called me when they had questions on what I wanted.

I called Master of Wood Floors, after calling and receiving several bids for Parquet Wood Flooring. We had Parquet wood flooring installed in a home we purchased in July of 2011 and by March of 2012 the entire floor was lifting all over the house. The original company from whom we had purchased the flooring, had gone out of business and the installers who had provided warranties for their work, had moved out of state. After talking to lawyers and insurance companies we realized that we were on our own. After much anguish we felt we wanted to replace all the flooring at our own expense. Gabbi arrived on time and with a great deal of attention to detail, explained what they would have to do to correct the problem and replace the floor.He had a proposal to us in 48 hours and within a few days his crew was there to start the process. Even though no one likes to pay for something twice, we had to respect their work ethic and honesty. They were at our house for 10 days and even though this is very dusty and incredibly messy work, they did their best with hanging plastic and taping off rooms and air vents. They arrived every day on time, and worked very hard to get this job done within the stated time, which they did! I have waited several months to write a review, but if we had to do it all over again, we would call Gabbi at Master of Wood Floors to do our next house without reservation! These fellows bring an incredible work ethic and best business practice to all projects!

. He re-did my entire house. He replaced the bad boards and refinished the entire job. Since there were a couple of loose boards he came and fixed it for free. I would use him in the future.

Work was referred to an affiliate company, T&G Flooring. They did a great job and worked hard to "squeeze me in" to their busy schedule. They were very professional, and finished on time despite having to deal with an unexpected setback (power company shut off power in the middle of the job). The floor looks fantastic and I am really happy with the results.

Vinny came almost immediately after my initial contact to give me an estimate. He also gave me a list of references which I called. All of them gave glowing reports of their experiences with Master of Wood Floors/Vinny. We agreed on a price and he started work within a few days. The work was completed in a few days and the floors looked spectacular. The repairs and replacement of sections of the floor that were in poor condition were barely recognizable. The new wood matched the old wood perfectly. The home was vacant and I checked in from time to time to monitor the progress. Vinny and his crew welcomed the inspection and explained everything they were doing at the time. In addition to being very professional Vinny obviously loves what he does and it shows in his enthusiasum for his work. He explained how to maintain the floors in a way to maximize their appearance. I could not be more pleased with the end result. The floors look beautiful. The final price was exactly what he had quoted. I have already recommended him to a friend.
