HUNTER'S HOME BUILDERS

The lack of professional work and damages done to our new windows required us to call the ROC and have an independent inspection completed by the ROC. We listed a 105 items that were not done according to IRC or the manufacturer specs.The ROC agreed that 100 items were not completed properly during the unprofessional door and window install. The attempted pre-stucco was so bad Mr Hunter even admitted he should have "gotten a professional"! We had the Millgard rep come out to look at the badly installed windows and he agreed with the ROC's assesment of extremely poor workmanship! Hunter's is no longer a approved Millgard installer. Hunter's has not accepted our settlement, which is very fair considering all of Hunter's work needs to be redone at additional expense and there are 5 windows damaged that need replacment,adding to more additional expense.Hunters will not accept Citibank's chargeback of our funds paid which was 90% of the total contract , so we requested a formal citation from the ROC and now we are awaiting a trial hearing from the legal administrative ROC office.We most likely will have to file against his bond to recoup our losses. This is a contractors nightmare we do not wish on anyone!
