It went great. They were professional, courteous, and , as their name says, honest. Lance told me that we did not need the dryer vent cleaning because of the type of dryer we had. We bought the Angies's List special, but had additional air ducts, so the total cost was an additional $40.(I was informed of this possibility before purchasing the special and was given an estimate as to what the additional cost might be.) Lance also offered several tips to keep our system running smoothly and let me know when I would likely need the service again ( 5-7 years). When I need to have it done, I will be using their company again.

Everything went great. I bought the deal on Monday, Jeff replied right away and I called them Tues to get something scheduled, and they came out on Wed! I thought the $110 deal for 10 air vents was a great deal, and they allowed me to add the dryer vent for $35. Chris was punctual (he was actually early, but gave a 30 min courtesy call). Chris was very friendly and helpful. The first 1/2 hr. he explained everything to me and we talked about the different types of filters and what to use and how often to change them, etc., which was extremely informative and helpful. He also explained how my dryer vent is vertical and zig zags to the roof on the back of the house for aesthetic purposes, which makes it clog easier. It turns out the air vents (and possibly the dryer vent too) have never been cleaned in this house! We bought it last year and weren't sure if they had ever been done, so I'm really glad I had them done. Chris explained that if we use the right filters and change them as soon as they are dirty, we shouldn't have to have the air vents cleaned again. He did recommend having someone come clean the coils of our AC unit in the attic, due to how dirty the vents were. The whole process took longer than anticipated due to chit-chatting, but I'm sure that was more my fault than his : ) I would definitely recommend this company to others!

I had more than the standard 11 air ducts but after cleaning a few, he stopped and said that they aren't dirty. FYI, $110 covers only 10 ducts. The rest you pay $10/each for. He didn't want to charge me any more money for ducts that don't need to be cleaned so he cleaned the most significant ducts that would add up to the standard 11 air ducts. I was very appreciative of that because it didn't waste my or his time and I didn't pay for air ducts that aren't dirty.

Excellent service! This is 3rd time I have used them on rental properties. They always amaze me. I wish all companies would operate the same way!

The person who took my call was very pleasant and helpful. Lance, who did the work, was very personable and professional. He went above and beyond the call of duty by helping me with a couple other small tasks along the way, like pointing out that my ceiling fan was spinning the "wrong" direction for the summer season and helping me switch it to the opposite direction, and helping me figure out how to replace the florescent tubes in my kitchen light system with LED tubes I had picked up at Costco. His tips only took moments, but they made a big difference to me in my ability to accomplish my work. When he was done vacuuming out the ducts, he applied a non-toxic sanitizer in the ductwork. The sanitizer they use has a very mild and pleasant smell that faded pretty quickly, which we appreciated very much because of my daughter's extreme sensitivity to chemicals. I would definitely recommend Honest Air Duct Cleaning to anyone. Thanks!

Bought certificate for 10 ducts to be cleaned on Angie's List. Their office contacted me a day or two later to schedule. Very pleasant & appointment was confirmed the day before. The tech, Lance, arrived as scheduled and was very informative about what work would be prudent and what work was unnecessary. I really appreciated his advice and the fact that he wasn't trying to get me to spend more money. Would definitely recommend this company to others needing this service !!

I noticed some dust coming out of some of the air vents in our 14 year home. I bought the Big Deal from Angie's List based on the excellent reviews. Chris came out on time and cleaned all 15 ducts. He found mold in one vent and treated the system with a sporacide. He was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to and gave me a lot of information on air ducts. I will use them again,

The only glitch was that the company wasn't receiving notifications from Angie's List that customers had purchased vouchers and were waiting for phone calls to schedule service! At least that's what the person told us after we followed up by sending a message sent through the Angie's List website to the company almost 3 weeks after buying the voucher. From that point, we got the call right away and the work was done soon after.

It was an excellent experience, as usual. I've used this company previously and really like their work. Last tie in a rental home, they found a broken heating/cooling unit upstairs.

they called to change the date at the last minute. service was completed at date other than originally specified.

It turned out okay. They came out within a week after I bought the big deal. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. The guy was very nice. He worked hard. You used to see these big truck mounted units come and clean your air ducts. This was just something he wheeled into the house. It was almost like an over-sized vacuum. But it was supposedly good suction and triple HEPA filtered and all of that stuff. The air ducts looked a lot cleaner and seemed a lot cleaner.
