We had been struggling to keep out pool in shape and had fired the prior vendor who was unreliable. Clay analyzed our system, gave us several options to choose from, recommended one (not the most expensive option), and has been doing a flawless job keeping our pool in great shape. We don't have to give our pool a thought anymore -- which is exactly what we wanted. Highly recommended.

Clay knew our pool had been acid washed before and could see that there was some spots where the plaster was pretty weak so he was very careful in approaching the job as we were hoping to avoid any major repairs. He was super flexible and came out same day for a quote. Once the pool was cleaned, he came back several times to ensure the chemicals were at the right levels and the pool looked great. Since then, Clay has been cleaning our pool and my husband (the one who usually cares for our pool) is very pleased thus far. Clay's company is the only pool company my husband trusts. Each week when Clay has been to the pool, he leaves a note behind telling us what he did to our pool that week. With other pool companies, my husband would regularly check the chemicals and find that we were getting shorted. Not with Clay. What Clay says on that weekly sheet he leaves us is accurate from what we've seen. If there is anything wrong, he gives us a call and comes up with several ideas on what we can do to address it, including some ideas that are no-cost or low cost solutions-- something that I swear is unheard of when it comes to pool companies.

Clay was prompt, professional and we appreciated his help. He answered his phone and came on the same day for our service. He gave us several options of what we could do. We would certainly use him again & strongly recommend his work .

He has always been very prompt and responsive, as well as being direct and straightforward around repairs required. He never came across as pushy and was easy to work with if any problems arose.

It went so much better than I thought it would. I have old pool plumbing and pool. Clay gave me options on the needed repair. He helped me to figure out what needed to be done now and what could wait to be fixed later. He did the needed repairs and is now providing the monthly service. My pool has never looked better! Clay provides weekly pool service for us and has been helpful at getting our pool cleaned for a reasonable price as well as replacing our pool pump which needed to be replaced. He makes sure to communicate if there are modifications to his schedule. It has been a positive experience working with Clay.

Even though I had a pool man.,my pool turned to swamp water . I called the pool man and he didn't come to see it until his regular visit. Then he didn't know what to about it....didn't even give me any advise. I went on Angies List and found Clay...he had wonderful reviews. Clay came to see the pool and we came to the conclusion that it was best to drain the water and start over. Well, needless to say, I fired my old pool guy and hired Clay. They are just wonderful!!! Clay, the owner, is always involved and is super responsive and helpful. He doesn't ever try to sell me anything, or encourage extra services. He even called to ask if it was OK to have someone other than him service the pool. At another time, he actually called to see if coming another day was agreeable! Didn't know anyone did that anymore!! He always immediately returns calls, and offers the time and advice I need. For the past month or so, John has provided excellent service. He always comes exactly on schedule, keeps everything clean and neat, and my pool looks great! I've experienced service from several pool companies and Westmoreland is by far the best. My pool has never looked so beautiful. And, they fixed my pool which I've hired numerous pool repair services for well over a year and have spent over a $1000.00 in fees to never have it truly fixed. Finally, it is fixed and running smoothly. I am finally pleased and would not trust my pool with another company.

He called me back the same day. He was very nice, polite, and professional. He arrived on time and did everything that he said he would.

He did a good job. He replaced this right before we went on vacation and he discussed other options for repairing electrical aspects of our pool. When we were gone I could not give him access to the home because of our dogs and he was very innovative and actually climbed over our 6 foot wall to get to the pool and do the work. He was very flexible with coming out to get the work done. I was pleased with the work, but the only thing was that I never received the paperwork from them when the work was completed. Update 10/21/13: The paperwork issue was due to extenuating circumstances for both of us. He sent it when we informed him of the situation.

Great, Clay is very good at explaining all the options when it comes to new pool equipment. This is our first pool. Also very easy to get a hold of, text, phone calls, email, he's easy to reach on all of them. We have a net on our pool that has to be taken off for it to be cleaned. So its important that they are consistent about when they come and letting us know that they have been there so that we know we can put the net back on the pool. They've been great about that. We were also just starting to get a bit of an algee problem and they cleared that right up. I would highly recommend Westmoreland pool service to anyone.

Clay is fantastic. I had been having issues with my pool and frankly I have been to busy with work to keep it up like it should be. His prices I think are very reasonable and charges $100 a month for weekly service. My pool has never looked better. I have found that he is very responsive to any issue that I have. I can text him and I get a response very quickly which I appreciate. There have been a few issues that have had to be repaired and his pricing is very reasonable and in the case of an expensive repair has let me know that putting it off until next year will be fine and isn't going to affect how great the pool looks. That shows me that he is someone who really cares about his clients. I think that speaks to who he is and I am thrilled I have found him. I would recommend his services without hesitation. You won't be disappointed.

We moved into a home that had a pool with black water. We had it serviced before moving in. We felt confident that we could take care of it ourselves. After 8 months and the pool turning green every 2-3 week we needed help. We called another pool company and all they only poured chemicals into the water. Two weeks and $120 later we fired them. We called two other companies to get bids. Clay was one of them. He was getting ready to go on vacation that week, but was willing to come out and take a look that day if we wanted him too. I told him what the other company suggested. Clay agreed to try one thing and see if it worked. If not he would come out the following day. It did not work and he swung by and said it confirmed it needed to be drained. He told us how we could do it ourselves and save money. We did this and then hired him. Turns out our filter was not working properly. It was filled half full with green sand. He replaced that and we have had no issues. Clay is very responsive.

I left a message with an iniital inquiry. Clay got back to me very quickly. I really liked the fact that he takes on new customers responsibly, evaluating if he will be able to provide them with great service - beware of businesses who just "sign you up" and think about how they are going to service you later. We met for an intital estimate (Clay was very accommodating of my time) and Clay took over. My pool looks great and I really appreciate the fact that he stays in constant communication with his customers. Very professional, responsive and responsible!

We have been using Westmoreland Pool service for a little over a year now. Clay keeps our pool in pristine condition. He faced some challenges at first because our pool was over 25 years old and had never been resurfaced. He recommended D & I Company. We had them resurface with Pebble Tec in October of 2012 and couldn?t be happier. Since then, there have only been a couple of ?cloudy? pool episodes (after dust storms, heavy rains). Clay quickly got the water back to sparkling. In addition to his skill with pools is his ability to communicate. If for some reason he has to change our scheduled day, he always calls to check with us first. I contacted Clay Westmoreland on Wednesday 9/14/13 and he scheduled to come to my home the following Friday morning. He showed up on time early in the morning. He discovered that the pool pump was defective also, as the impeller was warped and cracked and it would be better to replace the entire pump assembly with a complete new unit along with the motor. (The pump and motor were 11 years old.) He returned early on Monday 9/09/13 and installed the new assembly. He did an excellent job with the installation and instructed me in how to prime and restart the pump, set the clock, etc. after the installation pvc pipes had glued properly. I allowed the glue on the pvc pipes 24 hours to dry, even though I really didn't have to, started the pump and all worked well, with no leaks. Clay impressed me as a very conscientious person who wanted to do the most professional job he could and he did just that. I will definitely use him again in the future. His price was fair, he was on time for the work, and he did a great job.

I called first thing in the morning and by just after noon Clay showed up to figure out what was going on with our pool pump. It had been pouring rain and was a muddy wet mess but that was no problem. The problem was promptly found and I was given several options on how to correct it. Clay was able to quickly fix the issue and got us back up and running. I would recommend this company for sure.

We were using another pool company that had very poor communication! We called Westmoreland and Clay has been great at communicating and very honest and fair in his pricing. He shows up on the days he is supposed to and lets us know if there is anything additional that needs to be done BEFORE he does it
