Great. The pool guy comes weekly and we have had a sparkling pool, with zero algae for well over a year. It is great to just go in, without worrying about chemicals, or cleaning.

We have trees near our pool that drop a fair amount of leaves, blooms, and seeds in the pool that if left unattended would cause the water to turn green.? The company we used prior to Clay let that happen on their watch.? However, we have been with Clay for 3 years and he is sure to balance the chemicals properly and makes sure the pool is spotless when he visits each week. For any repairs that have been needed (salt cell replacement, new motor, etc.) Clay has done the work within 1-3 days of the issue, and at a very reasonable cost.? He also responds quickly to any texts or phone calls.? We love to support small businesses, and Clay's exceptional service makes that easy. If you are even slightly disappointed with your current service, just give Clay a call and you will never have to worry about your pool again.

We are very pleased that all the weekly maintenance and repairs have been completed in a timely and professional manner. The weekly service is excellent and Clay promptly returns calls and schedules repairs as needed. We feel the costs are in line with the quality of service we receive. We had our pool refurbished a few years ago but kept the same pool pump and pool cleaner which weren't doing the best job. Clay advised us to get a new, variable pool pump which also included a rebate from SRP. One day, I went to open the gate and saw that the filter was spurting water out the top and called his emergency number worried that we might need a new filter. They checked it out and found it was a part that could be replaced. My husband asked why the old cleaner didn't go to the shallow end of the pool, Clay advised us on one that would work better with our pump and then handled the purchase and installation seamlessly. With the system upgraded and the new equipment working very well, we have peace of mind to enjoy the pool knowing that we can count on the specialists at Westmoreland Pool Service and Repair, Inc. to keep it so.

Clay and his team are very competent and knowledgeable. He advised me to change to a different pool vac, then I did a bunch of research on my own and found that the pool vac he recommended really was the best for my pool. Clay never misses an appointment and does a great job keeping my pool clean and inviting. Highly recommended. (The B for price only reflects that there may be cheaper providers out there, but I think Clay's prices are very reasonable. I tried to use a cheap provider in the past, and he repeatedly failed to show up or do a good job).

This company is fantastic. He ended up really saving me a lot of money when I moved into this house and had to replace many parts of the pool system. I also converted to salt water and he handled everything. Now they provide weekly service and they are here every week, and my pool is always so clean. I don't really ever have to do anything to it! I have needed some changes to when the filter ran and Clay is always so responsive - I highly recommend these guys, they are great.

Clay is always accessible and responsive to my questions. His technicians are prompt, professional, and courteous, as well as very respectful of my privacy. Clay alerts me to the need for less frequent routine matters, such as filter cleaning, pool draining and refill, etc., before these conditions can result in damage to my pool or pool equipment. He works within my budget and time line, and I'm not sure how I would ever get along without him. When I decided to upgrade my pool equipment a couple of years ago, he helped me find the right products at good prices, as well as the right installers for the job. I swim nearly every day, and I am confident every time I get into the water that it safe, clean, and properly balanced.

Has gone and continues to go very well. Excellent service. Clay and his guys come at the same time and day each week. They do a complete job......I know because I check. I am not easy to please but I have forgotten about pool service.....its Clays concern and I trust him to take care of it.

Clay Westmoreland is goal oriented and quickly finishes the projects ordered.

Initially service was great. However it seems as the business grew service deteriorated. Baskets did not always get cleaned, DC filter clean out became very messy. Equipment is cleaned out using the hose at the front of the house leaving a mess. Currently filter is leaking and have a white mess growing off its side. Valves are periodically left half positioned resulting in the draining of the spa. A recent repair to the electrical lights that required trenching resulted in ground stone being buried leaving a nice muddy walk way to the equipment. There seems to be a growing general lack of care for a job well done that is now missing. Service was to include pool system inspection, however no one seems to check anything. So when a problem occurs I have to text it in. I'm just looking for reliable pool service. Have discussed issues with Clay on several occasions, but service continues to degrade.

I purchased my pool pump from Amazon.com I purchased a $90.00 service from Angies list for this Contractor, but the find print did NOT indicate that the $90.00 can not be used towards installation of a new pump because for new pump installation the pump needs to be purchased thru the contractor to honor the manufacture's warranty as the contractor is the one assuming full responsibilities (service, repairs) of the new pump. Westmoreland (Clay) called me within minutes of my $90.00 service purchase and asked what type of service I needed. I explained to Clay that I had purchase a pump from Amazon and that I needed to have it installed. Clay explained the fine print (NOT listed in Angies list) of the $90.00 service, but he would bend the rules and worked with me. The pool pump was installed the same day I purchased the service plan; all went well cause of Westmoreland's great customer service. I paid the extra $$ for the pool pump install, but Clay did honor the $90.00 I had already paid on Angies list and was able to apply it to the total cost of the new pump install. Clay is a class-act: professional, personable, honest, knowledgeable, punctual. Service quality in the Valley is often hit-or-miss, even with those who receive positive reviews. The late arrivals or no-shows; the talk never backed up by the walk. Not to mention the overkill strategy of telling a client his system is outdated, just replace all the equipment, and the excuses of why your repair or replacement is more expensive than expected. Clay is different. He shows up 100% on-time. He is so honest and straight-forward, he runs his business with an attitude of uncompromising SERVICE, putting himself in the shoes of his customer. He will tell you how not to waste money. He will follow through with his commitments (without having to be called or reminded), and he does an outstanding job in installing, repairing, and ensuring that your pool is up and running to your expectations. What I appreciate most about Clay is that he is curious, a problem-solver, and seeks to do right by his clients' needs. He has called Pentair for me, asked them to come out and upgrade the software of the control system at no cost to me. He has stopped by a second or third time because he wanted to take a look at something he might have had a new thought on. Clay is an excellent professional, and I give him my highest recommendation.

Remarkable!! Let me sum it up by saying this, It takes me a very long time to identify someone that I trust and like to be my hair stylist. BUT when I do, I will follow that person no matter where they move their business. Clay Westmoreland made a great first impression, as my, Pool, Go To Guy !! Our pool had been completely redone approx 5 years ago by a company that is no longer in business, and therefore warranty work was no longer an option. I called Clay for work to be done on: Draining and acid washing the pool, with a chemical start up, fixing a rust spot where the rebar was just beginning to show through, replacing the light (that hasn't been working in 3 years), and finally fixing the water level. Based on the research I was estimating a chunk of change to do all of this work. First, let me say that when I called and left a message, Clay returned my call promptly. Then he scheduled to look at the pool the next day, which he arrived first thing in the morning! Secondly and most importantly, Clay assessed my concerns and provided his professional feedback. Check this out: Draining the pool, refilling it and Acid Wash - Clay agreed that it was in fact time to, since it had not been drained in 5 years. However, it may be better to wait until the weather begins to cool, in order to prevent cracking to the plaster. The pool was in good shape and the chemical readings were fine until then. He said the Rebar was definitely something to keep an eye on, but was not at a point that needed to be fixed. The light replacement should be a bulb only and not the whole fixture, since it was newly installed 5 years ago. He fixed the Water Level for me. No up-selling, no hype. Just a good, honest person. Clay called me back within 1/2 hour of contacting Westmoreland Pool Service and Repar. He was onsite to give me a free estimate the same day. There was no upselling and he clearly explained the options I had. I got a good feeling he was a man of high integrity and agreed to the services. Clay arrived the next morning on time with the new equipment and performed the work quickly and accurately. He even painted the exposed plumbing to color match the new equipment. I chose not to have the old equipment hauled away in order to reduce my expense a bit but Clay hauled it away at no charge since the plumbing was less effort than he expected. I would recommend his services to anyone.

My husband and I new we would be needing new pool equipment. We weren't sure when we were going to buy, because our old pump was still working (but it was not quiet like the new ones we'd seen.) It was also old and ugly-looking. Over the past week, our water was starting to look green and cloudy, so we had the water tested and we added some recommended products to try to clear it up, but didn't see any improvement. In fact, we felt it was looking worse. I was beginning to worry that we weren't going to be able to fix it ourselves. So, I called Westmoreland Pool Service to ask the owner, Clay, about the green, cloudy water, and other pool issues we were having. I also asked him to give us a quote on new pool equipment since we were not happy with what we had. Clay scheduled the appointment for the next morning and came out to take a look. He diagnosed our high phosphate problem and asked some questions. How long have we lived here? Have we ever drained the pool? Turns our we should have been draining the pool every two years, but we didn't know that. He warned us that it should be drained BUT we shouldn't do it until the weather gets cooler?around October. Our pool is older and has a porous surface so we need to be careful about that. I was learning some things and asking questions. Clay also said the same thing that others have told us about our sand filter?it is not large enough for the size of our diving pool! No wonder we've been having trouble keeping the pool clean. I felt Clay gave us the truth about our situation, he gave us an idea of how much it would cost to replace our equipment and how much better that would be for the pool. He helped talk us through how to handle some tile repairs that need to be done too. He added more product to help lower the phosphate issue and called me promptly with a price on the new equipment. We were eager to get our problems resolved and had already had an estimate from another company. The estimates were similar, so we decided to choose Clay to do the work because he was so prompt with responding and came out to help us assess the situation. (The other company?a pool store?just quoted us a price without coming out to see anything.) We agreed to a price on the new equipment and scheduled Westmoreland to do the work the next day. Clay called in the morning before he showed up. He did a great job and even painted the PVC pipes to make them match the rest of the equipment. He gave us a lesson on programming the new pump and was finished up before noon. I would recommend this company. I'm glad I did my research and found Clay. He did a great job.

I get weekly pool service from Clay. They do a great job and I love looking at my pool every monday morning after they have come to visit. Always available to answer any questions I have and gets competitive quotes when I want to go above and beyond maintaining my current system.

Altho expensive, they were punctual & did a good job. The pool light itself was expensive.
