Description of Work: I used this pool repair service twice. The first was for my dead motor pump. I did not want to put in a new pump and wanted to keep cost down, so Clay suggested rebuilding the pump. The pool pump was rebuilt and it brought my pool back to life. When TJ installed my pool pump he noticed my pool timer might be going bad. Sure enough 2 weeks later the timer started acting up. Tj came out and installed a new timer. After installation the timer was not working properly so I informed Clay about what was happening. The pool was coming on but not turning off. Clay came out and worked on some mixed up wires and now the timer is functioning properly. The prices at Westmoreland are fair and the quality of service is excellent. One more note: Clay helped a friend whose pool had turned green. My friend took his advice and 2 days later his pool started getting rid of the algae. Thank you for all your help Clay and TJ.

 + -1 moreClay was very fast in responding to my inquiry, despite it being a holiday weekend. He was very informative on the phone, and we made an appt. for him to come out. He showed up as expected, diagnosed, and fixed the problems. He also followed up with me to insure that the things he had fixed were still working correctly. I would highly recommend him, and would use him myself if needed in the future. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended!!
Description of Work: Diagnosed the cause of pool leak and the resulting drainage. Replaced backwash valve o-rings. Checked out pool equipment.

 + -1 moreI'd been maintaining my pool on my own, and it had gotten dingy. I was referred to Westmoreland and called to schedule a visit. My call was promptly and courteously returned. Clay came out the next day and provided a very reasonable quote to do everything that was needed to clean it and balance the chemicals. Within two days my pool was crystal clear and looked better than it ever had! Clay now maintains my pool on an ongoing basis, and I couldn't be happier. I heartily recommend him!
Description of Work: Clay visited to look at my pool condition. He made recommendations on how to bring it up to standard, which included a thorough cleaning and chemicals to straighten it out and gave me a quote. He thoroughly cleaned it and now comes weekly to clean, skim and check the chemical levels. Last week he cleaned out my DE filter - and left everything spotless and tidy.

We have used 3 different reputable providers in the past that just couldn't keep up with everything at a fair price. Either the chemicals would not stay balanced or something would break and the cost to fix was too high. Clay, the owner of Westmoreland Pool Service and Repair, has been the first professional who truly has a strong understanding of everything related to pools and spas and is not only qualified to maintain it, but also is able to repair or replace at competitive rates. He doesn't push or force certain approaches, but rather provides good information for us to make informed decisions. We use him for weekly service as well as all our repair and maintenance needs. So far he has helped us through 2 pumps breaking, overhauling the main filtration system and enhancing our salt system. I would recommend him for any job, small or large.

 + -1 moreWe had an excellent experience with the owner of this company and will keep his number handy for future repairs...and possibly even weekly service. Clay responded to my voicemail within 30 minutes of me leaving a message and scheduled a time to come out to the house to evaluate the problems with my pool filter. He showed up when he said he was going to and called me to review his findings. He was extremely up-front and honest with us about exactly what needed be done to get things back up and running (and what could wait another year) and how much it was going to cost. He even gave us options to cut costs by telling us about parts that we could replace ourselves. He told me that he'd order the necessary parts and would be back on Friday to complete the work. When the parts arrived a day early, Clay called to obtain our permission to perform the repairs a day early...which we thought was great since most people would just show up. We are 100% satisfied with Clay's work (not to mention his pleasant demeanor and honest nature) and we won't hesitate to refer him to others. Call this guy.....you won't be disappointed!
