James was very knowledgeable and worked efficiently. Also, very courteous and friendly. I hope to keep him as my "go to" guy in the future for minor household repairs that I am not comfortable to do on my own.

When James arrived he introduced himself and immediately started to work. I showed him where the bathroom was located and he replaced necessary parts, cleaned up the area and was immediately ready to go onto the next project. He had called me in advance to let me know he picked up needed parts and what the cost would be for them. Then he repaired the skylight, using a tall ladder and fixed it where the bees would not enter my home. He even cleaned the skylight and surrounding area of any dirt. Lastly, he showed me how to hook up and flush the hot water heater, what to look for and how often it should be done. During the time James was here, he was courteous, professional, and dressed neatly. I am new to Angie's List and will use James in the future for all my handyman needs. He is very professional.

i bought an Angie's list deal at a great price. i was unable to schedule as soon as i liked, but James was persistent with his follow-up to schedule time with me to complete the work. Would hire him again. The work was done nicely and i have not had to do any rework.

Excellent. James was very punctual, polite and professional. I wanted to learn how to do some of the maintenance being done and James was very willing to mentor me, which is very generous of him. We had a short list of repairs for our home and we thought we would be lucky to get even half of the list. Not only was our list completed, but within an hour, which exceeded all of our expectations. We'll use James and "Valley Home Services Plus" again and plan to.

I had purchase a coupon to try out services for other work I had in mind. I was pleasantly surprised that the initial work I thought would take a couple of hours was completed in 30 minutes and Contractor fixed additional minor things within the original coupon value. He also recommended a good painting contractor that I needed for some rooms. I scheduled more work to be done after Xmas, including laminate flooring, electrical 3-way switch rewiring, outlet re-wiring, plumbing fixtures installation, outdoor Mist System installation, fixing of leak in pool water fall, hanging blinds that had some missing parts, etc. All work was done efficiently and James gave me the better of his daily vs. hourly rates, even though he could have charged me more. I find James to be professional, hard working, knowledgeable, and reasonable in his prices. I would not hesitate to use him again or recommend him highly to others. In fact, my girlfriend used his services recently and was very happy with having her front door fixed and a few other minor things fixed around her house.

It went great: called James to make arrangements; my plan was to have hime move the front door light from the left of the door to the right. After he came to the home to assess the plan, it was decided that the best approach and options were to either 1) leave the light as is and just change the light fixture to match the newly painted home, or 2) add a light to the right of the door. A first i was skeptical about adding another light, but decided to go with it. Its a great addition! We really needed to get the ceiling fans working. I put in a ceiling fan in the living room, and nix'd adding the remote because of the pain it was to install the remote. Our bedroom ceiling hadnt been working for over a year, ,and the extra bedroom fan was the same -- not working. We needed to get the front lawn faucet fixed/replace because hoses could no longer be attached to the faucet -- threads gone. James replaced the faucet with a newly soldered-on replacement. Paid for the Angie's List coupon and an additional 2 hrs.

James was very responsive, professional, and pleasant to work with. I felt like i could trust his work and his prices. Will absolutely go to him again in the future!

James was very responsive when I called him for an estimate. He gave me the estimate based on how long it would take to assemble the play structure according to the instruction manual. He told me the price would not change if it took him longer than he thought. He got right back to me each time I contacted him, which I really appreciated. On the day of assembly, he was right on time at 7:00 am. He worked for over 10 hours on the play structure. He was very thorough and meticulous in his work. He did an excellent job, followed our instruction, and the final product was fabulous. We were very pleased with his work ethic from start to finish. I would recommend him to anybody for any type of handyman job.

James took me to the tile store and helped me pick out the tile. He installed the tile and changed the gutters to a color to match. He did an excellent job and was very reasonable priced.

The gentlemen who came out, James, was so helpful. I really didn't know where the lighting should go. He helped me decide where to put the lighting and the electrical switches. It all turned out beautifully . I highly recommend him.

My living room has an area for a built in entertainment center. I contacted James at Valley Home Services Plus. He came to my home to get an idea of what I was looking for. We looked at many designs until I found one I really liked. James used two types of solid hardwood to make it unique. It has drawers, shelves and cabinets to hide the wires and TV hardware. It is the first thing people notice when they walk into my living room.

James came to our house and gave me a bid. His pricing was very competitive and he came highly recommended by neighbors in my community. He did an awesome job! I have since had other jobs done by Valley Home Services Plus and all have been perfect. I highly recommend his company
