True-Built Roofing

FANTASTIC. I interviewed 5 roofing firms and Weston (owner) of True-Built was the most responsive, straight-forward, honest and competent. I had TB completely redo my tile roof, coat all the flat portions of my flat roof areas and replace and repair the roof on a storage shed. We upgraded to Boran battens, used a single underlayment of MB Technologies TU-43 and used a roll material on the shed. TB was a few hundred dollars more expensive than the lowest priced bidder (who did not have insurance) but was less than the higher bidders (who also looked like they did not have Insurance or Bonding). Weston provided all the documentation to show he had the required licenses, etc, plus BBB rating. We had to put off the job for a few weeks due to the rains, but that was fine. When we finally started, a big truck came and loaded all the underlayment, coatings and battens on the flat room for the garage with the underlayments laid out on the tiles - not in a flat position (as stated by the maker). Fidel (foreman) and the three-man crew showed up promptly at 7Am and worked every day till after 4PM. They never took a break (that I saw) and worked steadily. They were always just seriously working and very dedicated about it. I went up on the roof three or four times to ask questions and was always greeted with respect. Fidel was extremely cooperative, super knowledgeable and friendly. I felt I was with family. It was sort of stunning how well it went. It was all done in 4 days - one less than projected. The shed was also re-roofed and a drain system improved upon. They used two sheets of plywood to replace rotting wood and didn't charge me extra for them as they had a right to do under the contract. Weston also did not increase the proposal cost when I requested the upgraded Boran battens. They also painted the flashing which was a wonderful bonus and installed a screen over the shed downspout which was an improvement. The entire job was actually a pleasure to get done. I never had a worry. It was an Outstanding experience and at what I consider a very reasonable cost too. Good warranties also. My experience was as wonderful as I would have ever expected. Everything was picked up. It was like you never knew they had even been here once they were done, except for the fact that the roof looked better with the new brown "bird stop" they added. They even painted the concrete "mud balls" and new O'hagen vents (8 of them that were installed) the same rust color as the tiles. My experience was great and the cost seemed a bargain too.

The workers were courteous, professional and skillful. The worksite was thoroughly cleaned after the job. I believe that the job was well done. Two neighbors also used True Built, and they are also happy.

True-Built Roofing was an easy group to work with. They came out to evaluate the problem and provided a written bid. They came in with the best bid of the three companies I contacted. The crew that completed the work did an excellent job. They arrived on time, found the two problem areas and performed the repairs. Finally, they thoroughly cleaned the worksite as they finished, which we really appreciated. We would certainly contact them again with any other roofing problems.

Weston was more accurate in his assessment of the problem than any other vendor and his price was FAR better. Naturally, he's very much in demand and busy, so we had to wait to have the work done. Other vendors were also unable to do the work soon either, so we're glad we went with Weston. I highly recommend him!

A re-roof was needed on our 18 year old Fountain Hills home. I got 5 different quotes and chose True-Built as the perceived best value. It turned out to be a good decision. Along with the quote, Weston gave a thorough and detailed description of the work to be performed. Also nice was that no payment was due until the job was completed. When the crew showed up they were timely, knowledgeable, and hard-working. They cleaned up the grounds at the end of each day. A walk through with Weston at the completion of the job ensured it was done to both our satisfaction. I highly recommend True-Built!

We recently bought a house and we knew it would need a new roof within the next few years. This summer we got water coming in during some big storms, so we decided to get it over with. We got quotes from three different companies, and TrueBuilt was the lowest. Not only that, but Weston at TrueBuilt really seemed to know what he was talking about. One of the companies didn't know how to install a ridge vent. The other company didn't have the Energy Star shingles we wanted. There was rain forecast for the day of the install, so Weston worked with us to change the start date until the weather cleared up. He was very flexible. The work was done in three days, and the roof looks great.

The roof was put on, but there were numerous times when the service was suboptimal. I never wrote a review the first time because the owner tried to make everything right after I complained about the numerous things that went wrong, including, but not limited to, leaving roof debris in my yard which I cleaned up, leaks to parts of the roof after the new roof was put on, and his workers inadvertently turning off the power to the main house, not just the power to my guesthouse, which meant no a/c was on in August! But, 14 months later, after numerous comments from guests and roofers who visited my house to give an estimate for a leak on my main house roof, about the water damage to the wood (under the medal drip bar) on both sides of the guesthouse, I feel the need to include this information in the review for this company. I was so angry that this company cut corners, that rather than get the work repaired under the warranty for the flat roof (which probably would have entailed a confrontation), I asked the roofer who fixed the leak on my house to repair the guesthouse roof work. Unfortunately, the poor finishing work on the guesthouse roof also required tearing out the ceiling of an overhang for the guesthouse due to the extensive water damage that had occurred in the last year. It now looks wonderful. I understand that if the roofers had added a 1 inch piece of wood under the metal drip line it would have avoided the water damage.

Padro and his roofing crew worked very hard I have to give them high marks. The roof looks great. The only problem was caused by the vender True-Built used to deliver the roofing materials, their truck was to heavy for my concrete and cracked the corner of our parking area. this wasn't True-built's fault, I called Weston at True-Built He asked for pictures and said he would take care of it and he did. Thanks to him for taking responsibility and making it right.

I usually don't write reviews, but I really wanted to let everyone know how impressed I was with Weston and his team at True-built! True-built provides A+ service and goes above and beyond to ensure his customers are happy. Overall, True-built did an excellent job at a reasonable price, and did the job right the first time. I had two broken roof tiles and a leak that was very apparent during our recent monsoons! I called Weston and he was quick to respond and scheduled an appointment to quickly look at the issue. Even though I wasn't able to be home, he took pictures and communicated to me timely and responded to any question or concern that I had. Weston quoted a fair price for the work that was performed. He was able to get the job done before the next storm and that was a relief to not have to worry about the leak during the next storm! If you need any roofing work done, Weston and True-built is the only team to call! I would happy to recommend True-built to all my friends and family!

Working with them was great. Have used them before. Called and talked about the job, they gave me an estimate, they did the work when they said they would and did a nice job. They stayed true to the estimate. Would recommend. Sorry, I did not take photos.

Excellent workmanship, they used very good underlayment, addressed some damaged wood issues. I would most definitely recommend the company and use them again myself. The owner Weston is very good at returning calls and communicating.

Awesome. Weston and the guys at Tru-built did a super job. They started on time, worked hard, did quality work and removed all the refuse from the roof repair. They took a couple days longer than the estimate, because the roof was in worse shape than we thought. But they stuck to their price and got everything done and cleaned up. Looks real good now.

We needed a complete reroofing on our house. We had several estimates but True Built was more competitive than others because he included 6 O' Hagin vents and an option to install 2 layers of TU43 SBS with 20 year labor warranty and 30 year material warranty at a very reasonable price. The crew was hard working and responsive to our questions and requests. Owner and estimator Weston was great to work with. He checked over everything at the conclusion of the job. Honest & dependable.

EXCELLENT in all areas. This began with Weston giving the most honest assessment of my roof's condition. I had 3 roofers tell me the roof was damaged due to wind-and required immediate replacement. My insurance adjuster said roof was in excellent condition. (hmm) Weston felt the roof could go another year or so before needing replaced. Other roofers clearly felt such feedback would lose them a job. I am considering solar panels, so chose to replace the roof now. Weston's estimate was lowest of three I received, but I had already decided to go with Weston as long as his estimate was reasonable (clearly it was). The work was completed in the time Weston initially projected. The workmanship was superb. The cleanup was excellent. The roof looks fantastic. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TRUEBUILT and WESTON for any roofing needs you have. I have found my 'roofer for life'.

This is the second time we have used Truebuilt. The first was about a year ago at a different address and both times they have been competitively priced, honest, quick to see the site to quote and very prompt in scheduling the work as well as completing the job! I would highly recommend this company for any construction needs!

We interviewed five companies and got bids ranging from less than $10,000 to over $30,000. (By the way, these were all companies with dozens of "A" reviews on Angie's list, so it pays to shop around.) Wesley did not give me a long sales speech, but simply explained what needed to be done, how long it would take and when his company could start. I found him to be reliable and trustworthy. In addition, his company - in terms of price and warranty - provided the most competitive bid of all of the companies (although we would have hired his company even if that were not the case because trustworthiness is important to us). His roofer worked hard and got the work done quickly and unobtrusively and within the original time frame (i.e., he worked long consecutive days, even over the weekend, to get it done). I have not been up yet to see the work, but I trust that the work was done properly and thoroughly and that we will not have leaks for some time to come. However, if that turns out not to be the case, I will update this review.

I was very impressed with all aspects of the process from Quoting the job to the detail in performing the job. Concrete that was used to repair the broken concrete joints was color matched to my tile ( previously just plain concrete gray) . They used tiles from the back of the house along the front of the house to replace broken tiles so that they matched perfectly and put the new (not yet sun faded tiles) on the back of the house where they are less visible. Price Quoted was the exact price of the invoice when the job was done.

I'm very happy with workmanship and performance of all who did the job. Weston was particularly responsive to all my concerns and was very punctual for all meetings. This is the 2nd job he has done for me but this is the first I've witnessed first-hand. It was a pleasure working with him and his team.

Great roofing job. Weston Farnes quickly emailed the work proposal the following day after inspection. The bid was well below that of other roofing companies. Complete roof was cleared of old shingles and neatly covered in new shingles in four days. Near perfect cleanup following end of job. I highly recommend them.

True-Built’s work and clean up is meticulous and their price was great. This is the second home that True-Built has done for us. The owner, Weston, is very responsive to calls, texts and emails. The crew who did our roof (Vidal) was utterly fantastic! But I hear all the crews are great. I can’t say enough good things about them. They were punctual, professional, clean and did great quality work. I would use them again in a heartbeat! A+++
