It went very well. Dane helped me find somewhere that I could find better prices on laminate. The price shown is with materials. Josh and Micheal from his crew were very conscientious. Overall, it was a very good experience. When I have more of the same to be done, I will be calling them. He stood by his word on his proposal.

He helped us decide what kind of molding would be best for us. Explained every step, always stopped work and asked us what options we wanted to go with. Dean was very accommodating, worked around our schedule and the contractors schedule. Because of our schedules, he had to work on 3 separate days, over 2 weeks. The insulation took more than 2 days to complete, and he did a lot of cutting to make it look good. One 22 foot wall was on an angle to our lot line, and many angles in the closet, and he cut it all perfectly. Going from the existing room into the new room was also a challenge, as the concrete did not meet the existing concrete. We did not want the floor to separated, and Dean made it work. One thing we learned from Dean was never skimp on the vapor barrier, or insulation you put under a floor, and never glue a floor down.

After I told Dean he was hired,he came over several times. When I got word on cabinet delivery, called Dean with date (about 2 wks away). He gave me install date of 9/12. He told me his helper would arrive at 7:00am & he would arrive at 3:00pm. Cabinets were delivered 9/7. 9/8 I inspected them & found a cabinet missing. Called Dean's cell & left a detailed message asking if install would happen on 9/12. 9/10 still hadn't heard from him so left 2nd message. Still no word so called his helper whose number I HAPPENED to have from Dean's reference list (never called before -thought it would be biased). Got a hold of helper (Keith) & he said install would happen so go ahead with tear out & he'd see me 9/12. Keith called 9/12 & said he wasn't coming til 9/13 'cause he couldn't get a hold of Dean. Turns out Keith is a subcontractor which Dean said he DIDN'T use.Keith finally got a hold of Dean & called me & said he (Keith) would come over & now give me HIS price (since Dean wasn't doing job).
