Excellent and professional

I called Terry because my current contractor quit showing up. He came out right away, gave a quote, and came out to do repairs in 2 days. Did an excellent job, very professional. I will continue to use his services!

Terry is extremely reliable. He had given us a quote a month earlier but because of all the rain, he called a month later and came to stain our deck. He will never forget to call regardless of whether the job is big or small. Our kids loved watching him work, and he was always extremely patient during his interactions with us. He also performed separate repairs at our two residences. His work was excellent. We will definitely be using Terry for all our future handyman needs.

Terry was great! He was the first and last person we called. We were very impressed with his quote and professionalism we didn't look anywhere else. We were so impressed with his work, I am already starting to think of other things that need to get done around the house!! Terry also gave us some suggestions along the way and really made us feel like we could trust him. We did have to call him back to the house a couple days after our completion due to a leak-after the tub spout was replaced a part that was inside (not something he touched) cracked-again, this was NOT his fault--we are thinking it happened due to pressure of the new water spout. When we called Terry on the Sunday (of a holiday weekend), he came out immediately, found the problem, and fixed the leak at no charge! We were already impressed with his work, that this just made us even more confident in our choice in choosing Terry for the work. We will be using Terry again and have already began referring him to others!

Terry was very responsive. He gave us a price quote and did a very good job in fixing and finishing all the assignments. He was punctual.

Terry did such a great job! He is professional and arrived on time. The best handyman we've had in five years! Highly recommended.

He was prompt in scheduling and arriving for the install. He is very polite and professional. He did a great job on the door, cleaned everything up, and hauled away the old storm door. He also made sure I understood how to adjust the tension and how to keep the door open when needed. Very thorough. I definitely plan to use him again for other projects. An added note, his estimate was only $125.00 (which he stayed with) but I paid him $150.00 because it took longer to get the door adjusted to my house which was built in 1938.

He came out and listed the things we wanted done, called us back the next day with a quote. We accepted his quote, he purchased the ceiling fan and light we wanted. Came out on Monday and everything was finished in about 4 hours. He is very professional and does an excellent job. We would highly recommend him for any small jobs and/or large jobs.

I called Terry and left him a message. He was on vacation but called me back anyway and let me know he would contact me when he returned to town. He did contact me upon his return and scheduled a day/time to inspect the problem. Fixed the problem in a couple of hours and my bathtub faucet now works great! Very nice person and I would certainly contact him again for future work on my residence.

He is excellent. He is honest and friendly. He is very hardworking. He has a lot of integrity. I would recommend him to anyone needing an excellent handyman. Anytime I need something repaired, I call Terry.

Had Terry replace all kitchen door hinges, fix front door know, replace bathroom sink faucet. Arrived on time, did good work, would hire again.

Terry was very honest and told us what he felt was and wasn't a good idea to do, honest about his ability to do it and turned down some jobs because he felt we would be better served by someone who had a "crew" instead of just him. He's very busy so may be three weeks out to get work done. Would certainly use him again. Presents as someone you are comfortable having in your home.

Terry came out on the day and at the time we'd scheduled. He picked up my old doors, took those and the 2 doors I had previously purchased. He measured them, prepared them for hanging and also picked up new doorknobs and hinges. He returned the next day as scheduled and hung the doors. I live in an old farmhouse (circa 1860-1870) and with years of settling the doors, floors etc. are not level. With a miniscule adjustment by Terry these doors fit perfectly immediately which I would've thought impossible. He's a genuinely nice person with a professional attitude. He worked quickly and neatly and even put up with my dogs without a complaint. I have already recommended him to others and will definitely hire him to help me with projects in the future.

Terry responded to my call in a timely manner, arrived at the time he stated he would come and finished in a reasonable time. Over all the experience was good.

Terry went with me to three stores to find the best option. Door had to be very specific type to match other condos. Condo was built in the 70's, so it took a long while to find the right door. Terry completed the project exactly the way we wanted it.

All projects completed to our full satisfaction.

Terry does great work... well worth the money he charges!

As part of ongoing remodeling projects, Terry completed various projects. Our home is older so we are updating it in many places. Instead of replacing the interior doors, we had Terry refurbish/repaint them... also repainting the trim. Terry replaced our two storm doors and refurbished/painted our slider door. Finally, he repainted our entire Family Room. We are very happy with all the work!

Terry is very dependable. I've continued to use his services over the years because he is always prompt, a great communicator and most of all he knows his limits. If Terry isn't able to do the job, he will let me know. He doesn't try to do a job just for the money, he is invested in my satisfaction. Therefore if Terry can't do it, he'll let me know who can. I will say his work ethic and craftsmanship is what keeps bringing me back. I really can't say enough about Terry and his work. I would highly reccomend his services to anyone in the greater Des Moines area.
